Hezbollah denies the false and fabricated allegations made by the Syrian Ministry of Interior about its involvement in a cell that was working to carry out an assassination of a religious figure, and reiterates its declared position that it has no activity, affiliation, or relationship with any party in Syria, and has no presence on Syrian territory.

Hezbollah also confirms its commitment to the security, stability, and safety of Syria and its people in all their components, and calls on the relevant authorities in the Syrian state to conduct thorough investigations before making random accusations, especially in light of the presence of intelligence agencies seeking to stoke tensions between Lebanon and Syria.

The Iranians have not left the negotiating table and I expect them to return and give us everything we want.
