🇮🇷🤝🇮🇳🛢 - Two more Indian LPG tankers have carried their cargo across the Strait of Hormuz.

India is heavily reliant on LPG as a cooking fuel for its large population. The country consumes 85,000 metric tonnes of LPG a day, equivalent to two tanker loads. Local reserve is only sufficient for less than 30
days.

Before the war, 60% of Indian LPG is imported, of which 90% is from the Middle East.

With the latest transit, eight Indian tankers have crossed the Strait since the war began. Fourteen Indian flagged vessels still remain stranded in
the Persian Gulf.

🇮🇷🤚🇶🇦🛢 - Two loaded Qatari LNG tankers were turned back at the Strait of Hormuz.

There has been no LNG export through the Strait since the war began. The Geopolitics Watch team previously reported on the transit of a Japanese LNG tanker, it has since been clarified the tanker was leaving the Strait empty.

Qatari supply comprises 20% of global LNG consumption.

❗️🇺🇸🇵🇦 - A fuel truck explosion in Panama city killed one and injured multiple.

The blast occurred under the Bridge of the Americas, close to a Panama Oil Terminals S.A. facility. The ensuing fire spread to two other fuel trucks and caused several secondary blasts.

The fire has been contained and the bridges is being closed for damage assessment. The canal itself is still operating.

Panama, under the US pressure, seized the canal port facility from a Hong Kong-based conglomerate earlier this year.
