MQ-1s were retired by the US Air Force in 2018 and replaced by the MQ-9 "Reaper", with only one MQ-1 known to still be operated by the USAF. The UAE Air Force has MQ-1s in its inventory. It is highly likely the shot down UAV was operated by the United Arab Emirates.

The denial came after a WSJ article was released, reporting that the damage to the embassy was more extensive than previously thought.

🔥🇮🇶🇬🇧🛢 - A series of attack took place against Iraqi oil infrastructures, Reuters reported.

A drone hit foreign-owned storage facility west of Basra export terminal, causing a violent fire.

Just moments later, two drones hit the British Petroleum operated North Rumalia oilfield in southern Iraq, wounding three Iraqi workers.

🔥🇮🇷 - Two members of the Basij volunteer militia were shot and killed during their night patrol in Dalgan county, Sistan-Baluchestan Province, Tasnim reported. The victims have been identified as a Basij commander and head of the student Basij group.

The suspects are believed to be "enemy agents". No arrests have been made in connection to the shooting.

The restive province has a porous border with Pakistan and Afghanistan and is home to the Baloch minority. Terrorism and separatist violence have long plagued the area.

🇮🇷❌🇮🇱🛥 - Iran claimed an attack on the MSC Ishyka, a Liberian-flagged container ship with alleged ties to the Israeli regime.

The attack took place around the Strait of Hormuz and the vessel is reportedly on fire. The incident was not reported to UKMTO.
