Our armed forces shot down a drone over the city of Shiraz. The drone that was shot down is definitive evidence of the participation of some countries in the region and their actual complicity in the crime of aggression against Iran. We need clarification from one of the two countries that use this drone in the region.

🇫🇷🇷🇺🇨🇳🤚🇺🇸 - In related news, France joins Russia and China to block an Arab-backed resolution at the UN Security Council to authorize military action against Iran over the Hormuz blockade, according to NYT.

This is the first time France joined Russia and China on a UNSC vote in at least 20 years. The France-US relation remains very tense, with France President Emmanuel Macron among the most vocal critics of President Trump in Europe.

In his current visit to Korea, Macron said “Our objective is not to be the vassals of two hegemonic powers” and "We don’t want to be too much exposed to the unpredictability of the US.”

🇮🇷❌🇦🇪 - The damage caused by Iran to UAE Al Taweelah aluminum smelter may take up to a year to repair.

The Middle East makes up 9% of global aluminum production and Al Taweelah is one of the world's biggest smelter. Separately, Iran also attacked a Bahraini smelter on March 28. Aluminum price have rallied 10% since the war began.
