1⃣ The FED will not cut interest rates again until inflation resumes cooling.

2⃣ Powell has no plan to resign as a member of the Board of Governors until the DOJ investigation into the FED renovation project is concluded.

The Trump administration has long wanted to cut interest rates to support the cooling economy. To influence the FED, Trump has launched criminal probes against members of the Board of Governors to get them replaced with his own appointees.
