Hezbollah condemns the treacherous American-"israeli" aggression that targeted the Islamic Republic in Iran after months of zionist and American threats aimed at subjecting the Islamic Republic, forcing it into surrender, and stripping it of its natural and legitimate right to possess peaceful nuclear power and develop its defensive missile capabilities, like other countries in the world.

This new aggression, which constitutes a blatant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, is a continuation of the approach of arrogance and hegemony practiced by the American administration and the criminal zionist entity in our region, in a desperate attempt to destabilize it, subjugate its peoples, and force them to accept projects of hegemony and occupation.

What is happening today, after the failure of the twelve-day war launched by the "israeli" enemy with direct American participation, is a confirmation that the problem was never the nuclear program, but rather the refusal to allow the existence of a strong state in the region that relies on itself, adheres to its sovereignty and independent national decision, a capable state that protects its wealth and develops its capabilities, refuses to engage in the system of American dependency, forms a support for the free and oppressed peoples of the world, and stands as a formidable barrier against zionist-American plans in the region. Rather, they want weak, exhausted entities that are easy to control and isolate, in preparation for implementing their occupational and colonial plans.

This aggression will only increase the strength, solidity, steadfastness, and adherence of the Islamic Republic in Iran and its people to their legitimate rights. It has proven over decades of siege, threats, and attacks that it is a strong, firm state that is impossible to surrender, and that behind it is a proud people standing as one in defense of their dignity and sovereignty.

Hezbollah, as it declares its full solidarity with the Islamic Republic in Iran, its leadership and its people, calls on the countries and peoples of the region to stand in the face of this aggressive plan and realize its danger, and that its dire consequences will affect everyone without exception if left without firm confrontation. We are confident that the American and "israeli" enemy will receive a significant blow and will reap nothing but failure from its tyrannical, criminal aggression.
