🇮🇷🤝🇨🇳 — Reuters reports that Iran is close to concluding a deal with China to purchase supersonic anti-ship cruise missiles of the CM-302 type.

➡️These missiles have a range of about 290 kilometers and fly at low altitude and high speed to avoid naval defenses, which could significantly enhance Iran's ability to target warships, including American warships operating near its coasts.

➡️The talks began at least two years ago, but accelerated after the recent 12-day Israeli-Iranian war.

➡️According to reports, senior Iranian officials, including the deputy defense minister, traveled to China as the negotiations entered their final stages.

➡️If the deal is completed, it will be one of the most advanced Chinese arms transfers to Iran in decades.
