There was always going to be a retaliation after the death of their leader, but they don't fight for any social or political cause. Extended chaos would invite a broader crackdown on their business, which obviously means less money. CJNG does not want a prolonged confrontation with the Mexican government for this reason.

🇮🇷🤝🇨🇳 — Reuters reports that Iran is close to concluding a deal with China to purchase supersonic anti-ship cruise missiles of the CM-302 type.

➡️These missiles have a range of about 290 kilometers and fly at low altitude and high speed to avoid naval defenses, which could significantly enhance Iran's ability to target warships, including American warships operating near its coasts.

➡️The talks began at least two years ago, but accelerated after the recent 12-day Israeli-Iranian war.
