➡️ The Shorthorn Express livestock ship was attacked by drones while transporting live animals from the European Union to the port of Haifa. The ship was carrying more than 12,000 live sheep from Portugal.

During the first summit of the Alliance of Sahel States (ASS), leaders from Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger convened with the main goal of approving a draft document to form the AGS confederation, as reported by the Nigerian Press Agency (NAP).
This summit, which took place in Niamey, was presided over by Niger's leader, Abdurahmane Tchiani. Attending the summit were Presidents Ibrahim Traoré of Burkina Faso and Assimi Goita of Mali.
On Saturday, General Abdourahamane Tiani, Niger's military leader, declared that the citizens of Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso have "irrevocably turned their backs" on the West African bloc, ECOWAS.

IMPACT-se reviewed 371 textbooks for the 2023-24 school year, comparing and contrasting the Saudi curriculum with previous years.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s new school curriculum for the 2023-2024 academic year appears to have removed Palestine’s name from most of the textbook maps.
This is according to a report recently released by pro-Israeli thinktank IMPACT-se, the Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education.
IMPACT-se reviewed 371 textbooks for the 2023-24 school year, comparing and contrasting the Saudi curriculum with previous years.
According to the report, the 2023-2024 social and national studies textbook features a map of Saudi Arabia and its surrounding countries, with Palestine left unnamed, unlike the 2022 textbooks.

➡️ On October 7, the Hamas attack caused overwhelming communication issues and chaotic decision-making.➡️ At 11:22 A.M., the Gaza Division ordered that no vehicle could return to Gaza, risking civilians and soldiers.➡️ The Hannibal directive was activated at the Erez border crossing, Re'im army base, and Nahal Oz outpost to prevent kidnappings.➡️ At 7:18 A.M., an unmanned assault drone (Zik) was ordered to prevent kidnappings at Erez.➡️ At 10:32 A.M., battalions were ordered to fire mortars towards Gaza, despite incomplete information.➡️ At 2:00 P.M., forces were instructed to avoid exiting border communities, creating a "killing zone."➡️ By 6:40 P.M., artillery raids targeted areas near the border to prevent Hamas retreats.➡️ The IDF attacked a house in Kibbutz Be'eri, resulting in 13 hostage deaths.➡️ At 9:33 P.M., tanks were ordered to close off the border area with unrestricted fire.➡️ The IDF is investigating the decisions made and promises transparency.
