🚢 🇸🇬 🇾🇪 Chee Hong Tat said nearly all containerships bound for Singapore were arriving late, as the Red Sea crisis continues to disrupt shipping schedules.

🔶️ So far this year, 90% of boxships calling at the world’s second-busiest port were not berthing on time – the 2023 average was 77%, he said.

🔶️ Mr Chee added that his ministry was working with port operator PSA to ramp up capacity in anticipation of more ship arrivals. On Monday, the first of three new berths at Singapore’s new megaport in Tuas estate began operations, and two more berths will open in October and December.

🔶️ Opening the new berths is in addition to the reactivation of shuttered facilities in downtown Singapore – the Keppel and Tanjong Pagar terminals.

🔶️ Singapore is also the world’s busiest container transhipment port, and many liner and feeder operators transfer containers here for onward transportation to elsewhere in Asia to expedite ships’ return to Europe.

🔶️ Coincidentally, Singapore is the world’s largest bunkering port, in terms of sales volumes, with a record high of 51.8m tonnes of marine fuels sold in 2023.

🇮🇷🗳❗️— Masoud Pezeshkian, the liberal Reformist & Azeri Turk candidate for the Presidential elections of the Islamic Republic of Iran, wins the Presidential elections!

➡️ Following the count of votes, the Reformist Masoud Pezeshkian won the presidential elections in Iran after 100% of the electoral ballots were counted, announced the official representative of Iran's electoral commission, Mohsen Eslami.

➡️ According to Eslami, in a statement to the IRIB television channel, based on the results of the processing of 30.530 million ballots, the candidate of the reformist wing, who becomes the ninth president elected in the history of Iran, obtained 16.384 million votes, which represents at least 53.6% of the total.

➡️ Meanwhile it, the Conservative Said Yalili, spokesman for the spiritual leader on the country's Security Council, received 13.538 million votes, equivalent to 44.3% of the total.

On the sign in the video the fighters wrote "here are your goods returning to you."

The fighters have most likely brought 155 mm artillery shells from the American-made M109 howitzers of the Israeli, which did not explode. They installed the shells on the rocket propellers of 107 mm rockets and fired them at the Israeli forces.
