➡️ SDF has been largely reduced to the YPG core areas that they controlled since 2013, with some extra buffer areas. In the Kobani region, the SAA continued its sweep of the southern areas of the Kobani pocket until reaching Sarrin and Abu Sirra, with clashes occurring along the way.

➡️ In the Hasakah region, the SAA advanced on Jabal Abdulaziz from the western direction, with clashes recorded to the south of the mountain. SAA units also approached Hasakah city from the west, with reports of SDF shelling on SAA units approaching the city. Meanwhile, SAA units advanced towards the Iraqi Border and established control over the Syrian side of the Tel Safok border crossing and reaching the outskirts of al-Hawl.

➡️ Meanwhile, in Hasakah city, the SAA reached the roundabout at the southernmost edge of the city before stopping, likely to prepare for an upcoming battle for the city and wait for reinforcements to arrive. At the same time, US forces positioned themselves around al-Sina prison to prevent any kind of release of IS prisoners by outside forces. A curfew was declared in ash-Shaddadi due to the release of IS prisoners the previous day, and Syrian security forces have already arrested at least 90 IS prisoners in the area.
