We condemn the malicious American aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the raids targeting the capital, Caracas, and its loyal people. These acts of aggression, which have escalated from a naval blockade to direct military strikes, reveal intentions of hegemony, occupation, and the imposition of control by force and oppression. They constitute a blatant violation of international law and national sovereigntyand are an extension of the imperialist policy aimed at subjugating peoples and plundering their resources.

Targeting Venezuela today is a punishment for its steadfast international positions, foremost among them its historical and unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and the resistance forces in our region, and its solidarity with our people in the face of war crimes and genocide.
