The Israeli Prison Service has published this video clip of what it claims is the cell where the director of Al-Shifa Hospital, Mohammad Abu Salmiya, was held. The service denies the Shin Bet’s claims that he was released due to prison overcrowding.

The footage reveals the inhumane treatment of Palestinian detainees in a cell that is unfit for human imprisonment, as it appears to contain nothing but metal bed frames without mattresses, pillows, or blankets.

However according to multiple human rights orginizations in israel, the prisons are indeed extremely overcrowded, and they often have to release hundreds of palestinians to arrest others because there's not enough space.
Moreover this could be just a made up footage from the prison service, to blame other officials on releasing prisoners.
In the attached picture it can be seen that the Police (under same supervision as prison service - Ben Gver) itself gave the released director of the hospital, a release note.
