Plus a treaty of ex-USSR countries (CSTO) as a new phase of a cold war appearing between America and China with a new player appearing which is Iran trying to implement it self as a regional power with big population of over 40 million and the highest ratio of engineers in a society in the world it might be a good strategic move for china's upcoming cold war to ally with Iran as it is expected anyways that the heat of the cold war will be in the Middle East as a passage for china's allies in africa and an easier non aligned region as it is way harder to implement NATO European countries into the alliance.

This raises many questions that are really hard to answer like turkey's non loyal membership's positions in that cold war and many other questions about the region that i have no idea how to answer
