What this could indicate to is that we are facing a casefire agreement and the dismantling of the Netzarim axis (currently taken by IDF cutting gaza strip in two halfs). The Israelis do not accept a floating port outside its control. It had previously accepted it during the past months on the basis of its control over Netzarim and the coast that will receive the port’s resources.
When their withdrawal became a matter of time, they were forced to withdraw the floating port of Ashdod and supply goods under Israeli control through land crossings or through the port that will be managed by the United Nations.
