Governments in Israel fall from within, and this happens through:
1- Search for dissidents (need 5 from the original coalition, specifically from Likud)

2- Splitting the government coalition to push its components to leave the government.

There are sectarian blocs in the government coalition. Each block represents a denomination. The Ashkenazi Haredim represent the extremist Ashkenazi rabbis, as well as the Eastern Haredi bloc. It is difficult to imagine a split in these two blocs, because betraying the bloc is betraying the entire doctrine/sect. It is also difficult to imagine Smotrich and Ben Gvir defecting, unless they decide to burn the boat with all its passengers, and that will not be in coordination with the opposition.

Likud is a movement, not a party. It includes religious people and secularists, Easterners, Ashkenazim, Russians, and Druze. Politically right-wing and socially liberal. Among them, Galant, considers himself closer to Gantz than he is closer to Ben Gvir, for example.
The question remains: Is there a bloc within Likud consisting of 5 Knesset members that is ready to split?
