Testimonial about this course from a Deputy Director of EPI:
“Leading the development of the National Immunization Strategy (NIS), I found the course to be invaluable in helping me adapt IA2030 to our country context. I learned from WHO experts but also from peers in other countries and local levels of the health system. Furthermore, our national EPI manager mandated that all senior directors in the national team take this course, and in the national NIS workshop, the difference between those who had taken the course and everyone else was night and day.”

Request your invitation now:
https://www.learning.foundation/iwd
Join us to listen to, learn from, and honor women who continue to work tirelessly to maintain immunization services within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, scale up COVID-19 vaccination, and pursue efforts to reach the 20 million children who remain at risk from vaccine-preventable diseases.
We work in health facilities, districts, regions, and in the national team.
We are nurses, doctors, community health workers.
Some of us are senior decision makers. Others do the daily work of vaccination that makes the difference between children, families, and communities being protected from disease – or not.
Wherever we work, whatever our rank or status, we are women who deliver vaccines.
Why share our experience across borders?
“Together we will learn from and support each other. It is through sharing that we can make things better in our home countries.”

What did we learn from Teach to Reach: Connect 4?
As we count down to Teach to Reach: Connect 5 on 4 March 2022, we are pleased to share with you a selection of valuable insights, based on feedback from more than 1,600 participants of Teach to Reach: Connect 4.
Topics we explored include:
* Immunization and PHC as we catch-up on routine immunization
* Challenging vaccine hesitancy in districts and health facilities
* Health professional COVID-19 vaccination
Specific sessions analyzed include:
* IA2030 Consultation on safeguarding and strengthening essential immunization and primary health care during COVID 19 vaccine rollout
* IA2030 Brainstorming to cocreate a common dialogue with participants on immunization programs for PHC and UHC
* Immunization and PHC during rollout of COVID vaccine: can we do it all?
What are we learning from the applicants to the Movement for Immunization Agenda 2030?
As of this morning, 1993 francophones and 2,639 anglophones have joined the Movement for Immunization Agenda 2030. More than 80 percent are sub-national staff working in districts and health facilities, and over half work for their Ministry of Health.
Everyone who joins answered questions about their work and well-being, the most urgent challenge they face, and the support you need to tackle this challenge.
We also asked you about the effect of the introduction of the COVID-19 vaccine for routine immunization (RI) and primary health care (PHC) services where you work and about the strategies you are using to successfully reach unvaccinated or undervaccines “zero-dose” children and “missed” communities.
Today, we share a quick overview of what we have learned from such a large number and diversity of inputs.
