Zergaw Cloud is looking for a motivated Junior Cybersecurity Engineer to join its cybersecurity team. This opportunity is intended for fresh graduates or entry-level candidates with 0 years of industry experience who have a clear interest in cybersecurity and have demonstrated that interest through academic work, personal projects, labs, certifications, CTF participation, or self-learning.
The selected candidate will contribute to both Zergaw’s internal cybersecurity operations and the delivery and improvement of cybersecurity products and services provided to clients.
Main Areas of Work
Support the internal cybersecurity of Zergaw Cloud infrastructure, platforms, and software resources
Support the delivery, configuration, operation, and troubleshooting of cybersecurity solutions provided to clients
Participate in the development and enhancement of cybersecurity products and related service components 
Key Responsibilities
Assist in securing Zergaw Cloud’s internal infrastructure, systems, networks, and software resources
Support monitoring, analysis, and response activities related to security events and incidents
Assist in identifying vulnerabilities, security weaknesses, and misconfigurations in systems and applications
Participate in the deployment, support, and maintenance of cybersecurity solutions such as:
       
Cloud Firewall
 VPN and encryption services
 IDS/IPS
Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Email Security
Web Application Firewall (WAF)

Required Skills and Qualifications  
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
0 years of industry experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
 Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as network security, system hardening, identity and access control, web security, encryption, and incident response
Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and common internet services
Familiarity with Linux and Windows system environments
Awareness of common cybersecurity threats and attack methods
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and learning skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team 
Preferred / Advantageous
Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity through projects, labs, self-study, certifications, research, GitHub work, or CTF participation
Familiarity with any of the following is an advantage:
                       o Firewalls and VPNs
                       o IDS/IPS tools
                       o IAM concepts
                       o Email security concepts
                      o WAF concepts
                      o Vulnerability assessment tools
                      o Linux server administration
                     o Basic scripting or automation 
 Understanding of cloud and web application security is a plus
