حدث في مثل هذا اليوم
30 مايو / أيار
في مثل هذا اليوم من العام 991م تُوفي ابن حمدون النديم، والنديم لقب لحق به لأنه كان نديماً للخلفاء العباسيين الثلاثة: المعتضد، والمعتمد، والمكتفي! قرَّبه الخلفاء منهم لِما كان يحفظ في القصص والأخبار والأشعار، فقد كان راوية من الطراز الأول!
يقول ابن النديم إن الخليفة المعتضد العباسي كان قد شرط علينا أننا إذا رأينا منه شيئاً ننكره أن نقول له، وإن رأينا منه عيباً واجهناه به، فقلتُ له يوماً: يا أمير المؤمنين، في قلبي شيء أردتُ سؤالك عنه منذ سنين!
فقال: ولِمَ أخرته إلى اليوم؟
قلتُ: لاستصغاري قدري ولهيبتك!
فقال: قُل ولا تخفْ!
قلتُ: اجتاز مولانا ببلاد فارس فتعرض الغلمان للبطيخ الذي كان في تلك الأرض، فأمرتَ بضربهم وحبسهم وكان ذلك كافياً، ثم أمرتَ بصلبهم وما كان ذنبهم يجوز عليه الصلب!
فقال: أوتحسبُ أن المصلوبين كانوا أولئك الغلمان؟! وبأي وجه ألقى الله لو صلبتهم لأجل البطيخ؟ وإنما أمرتُ بإخراج قوم من قطاع الطرق كانوا قد استولوا على قافلة وقتلوا من فيها، فألبستهم ثياب الغلمان وصلبتهم أمام جنودي حتى يقولوا: صلبَ أمير المؤمنين أخصَّ غلمانه ومساعديه في شأن بطيخ سرقوه فكيف يفعل بغيرهم!
صدق الله العظيم إذ يقول: "ومن يُؤتَ الحكمة فقد أوتي خيراً كثيراً"!
درسان عظيمان في الحكم يُستفادان من هذه القصة:
الأول: رائع هو الحاكم الذي يكون شرطه في حاشيته ومساعديه وفق مبدأ عمر بن الخطاب: رحم الله من أهدى إليَّ عيوبي!
الثاني: حزم الحاكم على من حوله مدعاة للناس أن يلتزموا بالقانون، لأنهم يقولون لم يرحم من حوله إذا خرجوا على القانون أفيرحمنا نحن، وبالمقابل إذا عاثت بطانة الحاكم تبعهم الناس في فسادهم هذا ولطالما كان الناس على دين ملوكهم!

فيما بعد سيظن المؤرخون أن هناك وباء ساد العالم في القرن الواحد والعشرون ، جعل كل البنات يقفن على قدم واحدة ويثنين الأخرى ، وينظرن للكاميرا بالجانب بنظرة من طراز ( الشوكولاتة ...معايا ...ومش ...هاديلك ...حتة ) ،ويجعلن فمهن كمنقار البطة .
