In addition to that, AMD decided to screw NVIDIA over by releasing their second generation "Max" system, called AI Max 400 (Gorgon Halo). It will power the best handhelds, laptops, and compact computers.

1. It's more powerful than the best model from NVIDIA (which they just announced).

2. It's x86 = no compatibility issues nor overhead, compared to ARM CPUs from NV.

3. Up to 192GB of unified memory and up to 160GB of that can be used by the GPU. NVIDIA only managed to make 128GB of unified memory.

Overall it will replace Strix Halo lineup and will beat the crap out of anything in both AI and gaming.

Sold my precious 3060 Ti
(Got a new GPU last year)

Five years with it were nice, it was a solid 1440p card, it performed well in Blender, I'll miss it in a way.

It was a 220W version, fortunately packed with Samsung memory (the Micron based models were dying in a year). It kicked well above my expectations even with its limited 8GB VRAM.

Now it will help another gamer (who apparently switched from 580 4GB).
