I can't explain you this story since it feels like April Fools, but:
Ubisoft and Unsolved Hunts are making a separate "game" to support Black Flag Resynced. Participants can win by finding a $500K priced skull, hidden in the Caribbean. They have to complete a 10-hour-long prologue and solve 15 puzzles which will take... about five years.
You just need to buy a 35 (digital) or up to 200 Euro (physical premium box) pass to participate in the hunt. Different editions are packed with extra board games.
So, a $500K crystal skull which is not gonna be easily sellable and you may get it if you build a team to solve all puzzles in about five years. And in the meantime you have riddles and board games for up to 4 players?
There's apparently a whole market for such games but it looks like an overcomplicated lottery.

After almost a year of denial that it's possible, AMD is releasing FSR 4.1 on rDNA 2 and rDNA3 GPUs (Radeon 6000 and 7000 series cards).
Officially it took them time to adjust the values for alternative INT8 computation instead of FP8 (which is only available on rDNA 4).

Stop Killing Games law is now going to be voted for in California. ESA (video game companies lobbying group) tried to put it down and failed.
If the law will be applied (and it's getting traction among ones who will vote), all new games available in California will have to either introduce a valid offline mode, provide a solution for user-hosted servers, or refund every single customer in case of closure.
It will be illegal to sell or monetize games 60 days before servers shutdown. And the warning about that should be announced clearly at least 60 days prior the closure.
ESA insists it's impossible due to security reasons (anticheat systems, commercial modules which can't be shared or sublicensed, and so on).
