Meet the first gameplay video of Exodus. From Archetype Entertainment, a studio founded by former BioWare developers James Ohlen, Chad Robertson, and Drew Karpyshyn, and published by Wizards of the Coast.

---

So far gamers are not confident yet and compare Exodus to The Division by Unisoft. When in reality cover shooting was a huge part of Mass Effect long before TD came out, but yeah, it looks a bit 2011.

For me the issue is rather different: the video is all over the place, shows small features that aren't necessary good or polished, etc. It's very basic set of game mechanics that have to be there but don't define the game.

- You can kinda walk
- Do laggy cover shooting
- Rope swing (Uncharted?)
- Doors from Mass Effect?

It's bland AF, like a template from UE5 (which it most likely is).

Crimson Desert is seemingly the game that you and your friends dreamed to make in high school: it has tons of little funky features and none of them is polished, but dude...

The reviews on Metacritic are not feeling good (78/100) but no one calls it specifically bad, it's just a crappy funny game we always wanted and should never treat seriously. And it's definitely not for cultural connotations and deep story.

Valve put CS2 on fire yet again: you lose ammo during the reload. Let me explain — even in casual milsims you don't, you just have half-empty mags in rotation.

It's generally compensated with more ammo but the community is concerned that the whole meta of the game will change. Some weapons will be completely obsolete and the gameplay can become too "safe", people will not rush-in instantly.

And rating matches are barely working. People are not used to the new system and lose ratings miserably. So only a few exceptionally good players farm there.

The creators of Crimson Desert lost about 30% of their market cap due to "negative reception from critics". Investors wanted to see The Witcher 3 and got Dragon's Dogma II.

IGN and several other outlets who gave Crimson Desert the lowest score, called the game bosses way too hard and failed to upgrade their weapons.

Here's what you can actually do while maxing out and mixing weapons.
