The new Avatar is good. It's slightly childish and at the same time too brutal (up to the point of killing people on screen which previous two shows deliberately avoided).
The lore of the distant future is confusing, but it steps further to explore Eastern cultures and beliefs, the characters have enough depth (and rarely feel like a walking stereotype) and it's well drawn.
If you are a huge Aang fan, you will get offended. If you're a Kora fan, you will be even more offended. But also gonna be right home.

The new Resident Evil movie is very odd and not relying on games. It feels like the director have never played them, googled a few terms and mixed randomly.
All combat scenes are "monsters using tentacles to grab something" (with literally two exceptions, lasted a minute in total). All monsters are more like The Thing, than anything from RE.
Can't recommend: not bad but like way too bland and predictable. And if they'd strip the RE brand, it may feel a bit better by itself.
