Picked this one on sale for like a few cents: a City Builder meets Deck Builder, good soup

Isn't it funny that thanks to Sony we have protection for emulators? 26 years ago, they literally sued Connectix over an emulator and helped establish that making one isn't inherently copyright infringement.

This could legitimately end Stop Killing Games.

We now know the exact numbers on Mindseye and Build a Rocket Boy and it's much worse than Concord, for example:
1. Over the years, the company has spent nearly Β£300 million (approximately $400 million) of investor funds while appointing representatives from major investors to its board of directors. They called back reps back in 2025 and over Β£80 million are now the official debt.
2. Total revenue from the *Mindseye* project was less than Β£4 million, yet documents explicitly list a figure of only around Β£3 million. In other words, the game recouped just 1% of its budget.
3. In the most recent year, payments to the small board of directors still totaled Β£1.9 million; of this amount, approximately Β£800,000 went to an unnamed board member (most likely Leslie Benzies). This occurred after the game itself had clearly failed.
4. Documents indicate that the company "planned and was required to launch a successful new product in 2026 to remain profitable." The only releases were expansions for *Mindseye*.

The End of Mindseye (The Biggest Video Game Failure EVER)
That's it. Mindseye is over. Build a rocket boy entered administration, basically bankruptcy. The game is dead, the company is dead. Everyone has been laid off. The studio recorded losses over $300 million dollars. The game generated at most 4 million dollarsβ¦
