• Ghost-Free Captures: Fixed an issue where the toolbar would sometimes appear in the final screenshot of a selected area.
• Toolbar Logic: Fixed bugs related to repositioning the toolbar for a smoother user experience.
• Display Adaptability: Improved UI scaling when switching between monitors with different resolutions (e.g., moving from 4K/2K to Full HD). The toolbar now stays perfectly aligned on any screen.

• Smart Monitor Focus: Perfect for multi-monitor setups! The app now automatically detects the screen currently in focus, allowing you to capture the active display instantly.

⚠️ Important Note for macOS Users: Due to the lack of an Apple Developer Certificate, Apple Gatekeeper prevents the app from performing automatic background updates. While you will still receive update notifications, you must manually download the latest version and move it to your Applications folder.

🛠 Hotfix: GScreenshot v1.3.3 is Out!

We are rolling out a quick but essential visual update. We’ve fine-tuned the screen capture mode to make selecting your area much more precise and comfortable, no matter what is on your screen.

🎨 What’s New:
• Sharp Borders: Added a high-contrast border around the selected area. Now you can see the exact edges of your capture, even if the background colors try to blend in.
• Better Visualization: Made the background dimming around the selection slightly darker. This helps you focus on what matters and crop your screenshots with pixel-perfect accuracy.

🔄 How to Update
• Windows: The app will update automatically upon restart (or you can just click the Update to v1.3.3 button right in your tray.

• macOS: Due to Gatekeeper security policies, Mac users will need to download the latest version manually and reinstall the app.

We’re always listening to your feedback and striving to make GScreenshot even more intuitive and powerful. In this release, we’ve packed in some of your most requested features!

✨ What’s New:
• Local Screenshot Saving: You can now save screenshots directly to your computer! We know how essential offline access and local storage are for your workflow.
• Redesigned Settings Screen: We revamped the Settings UI to make it cleaner and easier to navigate:
— Customizable hotkeys for saving directly to your PC;
— Default repository/folder settings: set a fixed folder for all screenshots or pick a location manually every time.
• Toolbar Quick Save: A new button has been added to the toolbar for instant local saving.
• Re-copy Last Google Drive Link: Easily copy the link to your last uploaded screenshot to Google Drive anytime, straight from the tray menu.
• Updated About Page: Direct links to our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions have been added to the About section.
