It's time to reveal some information about FurryEST 2024!
As is already known, FurryEST 2024 will take place from 4th to 7th of July, at the Kabala Barge Houses! FurryEST 2023 Aftermovie here, by Nona/Mommy; barge pictures here.
However, for those who are travelling a long way and need a good night's rest before the real party gets started or simply want to enjoy FurryEST for that little bit longer, this year also sees the addition of an EARLY ARRIVAL day on the 3rd of July!
Already itching to reserve a spot? Well you'll have to wait until 13th of April, 20:00 EEST (17:00 UTC) for registrations to open! The number of registrations this year will be limited to around 130-140, so make sure you don't miss the registration!
So what of the pricing this year? While the final prices are not yet set, the likely prices are going to be the following:
80€ - Convention ticket for the main days, which includes a dinner every evening as well as some "breakfast materials".
+30€ - A bed spot upstairs in either the small- or large barge (main days + early arrival if taking that).
+25€ - Early arrival day ticket (early arrival day will not have any events nor a dance party).
+30€ (or more!) - Sponsorship, which we would absolutely love you for and you'd receive a small token of appreciation for.
*Please note that these prices are not final and may still change a little, but not more than by 5-10€.
And then finally, there's the issue of the THEME. Unfortunately, the FurryEST team has not been able to settle on a theme for 2024... at least not yet. Perhaps YOU have some great ideas? Or maybe you are simply eager to help the convention out with some volunteer work? Well in that case make sure to contact @Clanga or @raptorjesus42 and let us know what your skills are and what you'd be willing to do. We need basically every kind of helper - to organize parts of the convention, be a medic or security, make and run events, or just simply help out setting up and maintaining the consite!

Call for helpers!
As FurryEST's attendee count sails towards ever higher numbers, there's need for extra hands on the deck to keep the ship steady. Since we expect well in excess of 100 attendees this year, we are also expanding the team of helpers accordingly. As it turns out however, we do not have quite enough helpers just yet!
Primarily we have a need for three types of volunteers:
Medic volunteers - Medical problems can crop up without warning at any moment... maybe someone gets a tick or a splinter, or perhaps someone is feeling generally unwell. As a medic volunteer you'd be called on shift to be the hero that saves the day in case of minor medical problems in addition to being the friendly walking reminder to stay hydrated.
Security volunteers - A zoo of animals, many of which have consumed alcohol is a mix for a lot of fun, but potentially also some stupid decisions. As a security volunteer you'd be called on shift to "herd" all of these animals. You would be going around and making sure no rules are being broken, diffuse any brewing conflicts and during quiet hours remind the loud critters to tone it down.
Logistics volunteers - Constructing the venue, serving food and keeping the conspace stocked and tidy are crucial jobs for a con to happen! So logistics volunteers are responsible for exactly those tasks!
Now, even if any of those three volunteer posts are not something you fancy but would like to still help out in some other way, then let us know of your willingness to help regardless! Holy Smokes! You guys really just filled up all the preliminary spots in 5 minutes?! We set the first target for maximum attendees at 130, and that quota has now been filled... The organisers will convene and discuss the possibility to raise the number of attendees, however that would happen sometime in the future, so if you did not manage to register in time, keep an eye out on announcements!

Events are a big part of what makes a convention, a convention! While we have already planned a variety of events for FurryEST 2024, perhaps you would like to hold your own event? May it be a meet & greet, or a panel on a hobby of yours, or perhaps you want to host a game of some sort?

Hey there everyone! FurryEST is right around the corner, less than a month away by now! So for those that do not have their own car for transport, it's getting to the point where you'll want to start thinking about public transport to the convention.
The closest city to FurryEST is Rapla, and you can get there from Tallinn by train (train times are given only 2 weeks in advance but next week's times should be the same as during the convention).
From Rapla, we offer free transport by car to the consite. The places where we can pick you up from are directly in-front of the Rapla train station or from Rapla bus station. The potential times for cars are as follows:

10:00, 12:00, 16:00, 16:30, 17:00
7. July (Transport back to Rapla at the end of the con)

Badge photos
Can be uploaded until the end of this week (16. June)! If you have not uploaded a badge photo yet then you should do so now by logging into furryest.org and going into the "registration" tab. Anyone that fails to upload a badge photo will unfortunately have an empty frame on their convention badge. As a reminder, the convention badge acts as your ticket and must be visible at all times while at the convention, so having an empty frame would make us just a tiny bit sad.
In addition, there are still a lot of times free for free transport from Rapla to consite and back. Check the previous announcement for more information.
