Today, studying with Helge (PixelTrain) on his course, I noticed that on Blender 3.6, the sidebar was different, and precisely, it was like I suggested 7 months ago on the Right Click Select community!

I am super happy about it, not just because of my suggestion being integrated, but because I was actually hoping such feature would be integrated, and it did!

Added a simple bash script to my furautils repo to create a v4l2 loopback which can be used to feed the same video stream from a webcam/camera (uvcvideo) to multiple applications instead of just one.

It works for me and has simplified my life a lot, hope it will turn out to be helpful also for you ^^

Needed to compress a directory, and noticed that my script was lacking the ability to perform that action... so I've added a directory check to the xz9 compress script 💫
It should work, if you encounter problems, let me know ^^
It creates an .xz in case of file and .tar.xz in case of directory 📦

I found that the Kailh Box Brown switches were a little bit too #noisy and hard for my #tastes, so I've opted for the Cherry MX #Silent Red instead.
On this #LiveStream, I'm changing them and testing the new #sound and feel.

Since mid October 2023, noticing I was starting to have more and more #wristPain, which was lasting days instead of hours...I opted to give those fancy #ergonomic #splitKeyboards a chance, and after several research hours, I opted for the #ZSA #Moonlander, there were alternatives, but too far from what I was used to, was unsure and this was my final choice.(also found a good local used deal)

Since I was changing keyboard, why not use also a more ergonomic layout? So,I opted for a #shockTherapy and went with #Dvorak and used this combination ever since! My first days were quite.... a going back to when I was 7 years old, sub 10 wpm XD but after a couple of weeks, typing was not as humiliating as before and my speeds increased :)

From a classical full size #qwerty at 110ish wpm I went to currently 60ish, with a constant increase week after week. Not in a hurry, as my wrist pain vanished, and that was the final goal.. So I'm okay with half the speed and -95%ish pain :)

Just discovered the #3D mode of #ORUI ( org-roam-ui of #emacs )! Mind Boggling 🤯

I know that probably has been there for a while, but have never activated it! 😲

Do you also use #orgRoam ?
This is a core node with an index, not sure if I should use it or link nodes differently.. but comes handy and can always disable it with filters ^^
