Après l'exhumation des cadavres, le 30 novembre 1940, leurs funérailles solennelles ont eu lieu à Bucarest, en présence de plus de 100 000 personnes, et les derniers mots enregistrés du capitaine du 24 juin 1937 ont été diffusés par les haut-parleurs.
Pratiquement toutes les personnes impliquées dans le meurtre du capitaine ont répondu avec leur tête pour leurs actions et la persécution de la Légion.

Praktycznie wszyscy zamieszani w mord na Kapitanie odpowiedzieli głowami za swoje czyny i prześladowanie Legionu.
