The Financial Times said earlier that the proposed tariff would amount to 95 euro per metric ton, while the average wheat price in the EU is about 193 euro per metric ton.

"The European Commission proposed an actual ban on supplies of grain, sunflower seeds and fodder crops from Russia and Belarus to the internal market of the EU by setting so high tariffs that will make their exports to the EU economically disadvantageous," he said.

NATO, EU have long conflict with Russia ahead, Swedish foreign minister says

Tobias Billstrom noted that Sweden plans to send a part of a mechanized battalion to Latvia, and will reinforce its naval forces near the island of Gotland and the Baltic Sea.

"We must understand that we have a long conflict with Russia ahead of us. This involves NATO and the EU. We must prepare to it accordingly," he said in an interview for Deutsche Welle [deemed foreign agent in Russia]. According to the foreign minister, this primarily concerns Baltic states and Poland.

Billstom noted that Sweden plans to send a part of a mechanized battalion to Latvia, and will reinforce its naval forces near the island of Gotland and the Baltic Sea. He added that Sweden already patrols the airspace in this region and uses its submarines for similar purposes

The foreign minister noted that he considers reinforcement of Gotland, which is often being referred to as a "huge aircraft carrier," the most urgent task.

Czech President Petr Pavel unveiled the scheme at the Munich Security Conference in mid-February, setting the target at 800,000 shells. 

In recent weeks, Ukrainian officials have increasingly been sounding the alarm over the country’s dwindling ammunition stockpiles due to which Kiev’s troops have been badly outgunned on the front line.

There are three possibilities here:

1- US/NATO/Ukraine were behind the attack, in an attempt to force Putin to escalate, and drag NATO into full-scale WW3.

2- Russia were behind the attack to justify significant escalation.

3- Unknown entity carried out for unknown reasons.

Option 1 seems like the most plausible, because the West are the only ones who could possibly benefit from this situation. Putin already has all the support he needs to do whatever the hell he wants, he does not need to kill his own civilians to justify a war he is already in, fresh off an election where he got 88% of the vote.

Deep State actors are the ones who are desperate to start a global war. It solves all of their problems. They can cancel the US election, further extend their power, and the war machine keeps getting paid.

Two thoughts on the Crocus Hall attack.

1) If this is tied to Ukraine then the war is going to be escalated and Kiev is going to fall quickly. Gloves will be off.

2) Russia has been very critical of Israel’s actions in GAZA and, while not exactly pro-Muslim, they have called for diplomacy and have many Muslim allies.

If this is a deep state backed attack by Muslim terrorists it may be an attempt to drive a wedge between Russia and the Middle East, weakening alliances and pushing Russia to be less critical of Israel.

If the latter is true, I would expect a measured response from The Kremlin. They have been cool under fire since Ukraine began.

Moscow attack terrorists planned to flee to Ukraine – FSB

Russia’s domestic security service has reported that four assailants were detained in Bryansk Region near the border.

Seven other people have been detained following the mass shooting, the security service said. The attack was meticulously planned, with a cache of weapons amassed beforehand, the statement added.

The investigation is ongoing, with the security service working to determine all circumstances surrounding the case.

Seems like all the suspects were detained now and are being transported to Moscow. One was severely injured and underwent surgery.
