No statements from the US will shatter the trust the president has gained from the country's people, Dmitry Peskov said.
He was commenting on a statement from the White House that said the US will base its work on the reality that Putin is the president of Russia.

US Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) has urged the Ukrainian parliament to pass a highly controversial mobilization bill that would lower the minimum conscription age from 27 to 25 to compensate for battlefield losses. At the same time, he advocated a scheme in which the US would provide Ukraine with loans instead of non-repayable aid.
Kiev announced general mobilization in February 2022 shortly after the start of the conflict, with men between 27 and 60 eligible to be called up, although those over the age of 18 could also volunteer. In December, Ukrainian officials proposed a bill expanding the draft bracket, with reported plans to send as many as 500,000 fresh soldiers to the front line.

Active and former military personnel from NATO states have long been operating in Ukraine, overseeing Kiev’s use of Western-supplied weapons, El Pais reported on Monday.

Now compare that to Zelensky's delusions about 31000, that even NYT questioned claiming 70000 Ukrainian losses.
Millions of people dead! Millions that didn't have to die if Ukraine accepted a peace deal that then-defeated Putin was ready to sign when he pulled back from Kyiv in March 2022.
Now there are plenty of videos of Ukrainian men caught in the middle of the street to be forcedly shipped off to war (no such videos from Russia, yet we hear that Russian losses are insurmountable).
Even if Congress approves 60 billion, or 600 billion or 6000 bajillion, the truth on the ground is that no amount of money can overcome one simple fact - Ukraine doesn't have the manpower to defeat Russia.
Elon has been talking about it - this war is lost. The only question now is how many more thousands (millions?) of Ukrainians will have to die before that becomes clear to everyone?
Although I'm sure that the elites who profit from this war in Kyiv, Brussels and DC perfectly understand the catastrophic situation and that there is no way Ukraine can defeat a nuclear Superpower (especially with how emboldened Putin is after his re-election) but are happy to milk Ukraine - the biggest money laundering scheme in history - for every penny.
