With Russia poised to capture Avdeevka, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby called on Congress to give Kiev more ammunition.
Fighting around Avdeevka is “particularly intense,” Kirby said at a press conference. “We’re getting reports from the Ukrainians that the situation is critical, the Russians continuing to press Ukrainian positions every single day,” he stated, adding that “Avdeevka is at risk of falling into Russian control.”
The reality is large portions of Avdeevka already fell. Some Ukrainian troops tried to retreat west and were covered with artillery fire yesterday late evening. We are waiting for more updates, but Avdeevka is close to being liberated.

Mikhail Podoliak, the fiercely anti-Russian aide to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, admitted on Thursday that his own brother is a Russian citizen and lives in Moscow.
Ukrainian media first reported the whereabouts of Vladimir Podoliak last April, claiming he was an officer in the Russian military intelligence. The issue came up again this week, because the new commander-in-chief of Ukraine’s military, Aleksandr Syrsky, is Russian-born.

On 16.02.2024, in correctional colony No. Z, convict A.A. Navalny felt ill after a walk, almost immediately losing consciousness.
The medical staff of the institution immediately arrived, and an ambulance was called. All the necessary resuscitation measures were carried out, which did not give positive results.

More and more soldiers from our 82nd Airborne Division are arriving at the Constanta base in Romania.
This base is one of the biggest hubs for military equipment being shipped to Ukraine.
With the arrival of additional American forces, our soldiers are getting more directly involved in the Ukraine war.
Furthermore, a couple days ago, when Ukraine sunk another Russian warship, our American Global Hawk surveillance plane was patroling the Black Sea, clearly guiding the drones that sunk the Russian ship.
With increased number of American troops in the region is it beyond reasonable that the drone operator was also an American?
This would be casus beli for Russia, and Congress and the American people should have more oversight into how deep the Pentagon is involved in this war.
Otherwise we might sleepwalk into a nuclear war with Russia, with 99.9% of Americans not having a clue of what we are doing in the region.
