Russia awaits results of investigation into Nord Streams sabotage - Kremlin

Martial law and mobilization extended in Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada adopted the bills introduced by President Vladimir Zelensky.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine extended the martial law in the country for another 90 days. The regime has been extended in Ukraine for the tenth time in a row since February 24, 2022.

The Ukrainian parliament passed bills introduced by President Vladimir Zelensky on the extension of martial law until May 13, 2024. 335 deputies of the Rada out of 355 spoke in favor, 20 people did not vote.

In addition, Rada approved Zelensky’s decree on the extension of mobilization, Ukrainian media reported. It is noted that the next extension of martial law will make it legally impossible to hold a presidential election in the spring.
