January 21, 2024, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at the market in Donetsk (Textilshchik microdistrict).
The attack was carried out on civilians using 155 mm artillery.

According to media reports, at about 3.20 UAVs attacked the Novatek plant in Ust-Luga.
The plant is located in the coastal zone, next to a specialized terminal where products and gas condensate itself are loaded onto ships and sent for export. At the time of the explosion, there were three large tankers at the berths, which arrived in Ust-Luga from Belgium, Oman and Libya.
Regional Governor Drozdenko: There were no casualties as a result of the fire, the personnel were evacuated. The forces and means of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Lenoblpozhspas were involved in extinguishing the fire. A high alert regime has been introduced in the Kingisepp district

Klitschko: Ukraine led by Zelensky is going in the wrong direction.
Ukraine is moving in the wrong direction, becoming increasingly autocratic, Kiev Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko told the Canadian Globe and Mail .
The Kiev mayor criticized the unified Ukrainian telethon, noting that critics of Vladimir Zelensky were โunder pressure.โ โI cannot call the movement, what we see now, democracy. It smells of verticality and authoritarianism,โ he said.
According to him, behind this is โthe desire of some people,โ whose names he โcannot name,โ they want โeverything to be centralized.โ โMayors and heads of communities are elected by citizens, and they are replaced by people appointed from above,โ he complained.
In addition, Klitschko noted that he shared his concerns in conversations with Western ambassadors in Kyiv, and he answered affirmatively when asked whether some of these diplomats shared his concerns.
Previously, the mayor of Kiev has repeatedly criticized Zelensky. In an interview with the Swiss portal 20 Minuten, Klitschko said that he was not surprised by the drop in Zelenskyโs rating and believes that he is paying for his mistakes. He also accused him of slipping into authoritarianism. According to Klitschko, as a result of Zelenskyโs actions, there are practically no independent institutions of power left in Ukraine; the country is moving towards authoritarianism, in which everything depends on the mood of one person.
