Namibia's condemnation of Germany's rejection of South Africa's "genocide" accusations against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) is rooted in the traumatic experience of the Namibian people under German colonial rule, Dr. Rasigan Maharajh, chief director of the Institute for Economic Research and Innovation at the Tshwane University of Technology in South Africa, told Sputnik Africa.

Maharajh said that the majority of people around the world find it difficult to understand Berlin's current stance on the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the besieged Palestinian Gaza Strip.

Russia kills 60 and injures 20 French mercenaries in the city of Kharkov in a single strike

On the evening of 16th of January 2024, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation delivered a strike with two missiles at a temporary deployment area of foreign mercenaries, most of whom were citizens of France, in the city of Kharkov.

I have so many questions. Why are all these "French citizens" there to begin with? Tourists? Our State Department made such a huge deal of the air defence systems we've provided to Ukraine, but it seems they don't work too well, do they. We've spent billions sending them and billions more on ammunition. Or have the Ukrainians sold the air defence systems too?

Anyway, I guess they should've stayed in France, eating croissants and complaining about pensions.
