The United States authorities will announce a new aid package for Ukraine at the end of December; it will be the last.

White House Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby said this on Monday.

“We are still planning one aid package for Ukraine later this month,” he was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.

Earlier, the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kristalina Georgieva, said that the Ukrainian authorities would hold out at best for “a couple of months” without financial help from the West.

The Norwegian authorities prohibited a Russian plane with a dying man on board from landing at the airport.

According to available information, the Nordwind Airlines plane was flying from Moscow to the Cuban resort of Varadero. A few hours later, one of the passengers developed an ulcer and began bleeding internally. According to eyewitnesses, the crew was not given permission to land at the nearest airport in Norway. After this, the plane turned around and headed back to Moscow.
