Over half of Russians (57%) believe that the Russian Federation is better than all other states, according to the results of a study by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center ( VTsIOM ).

"Russia is better than other countries - six out of ten Russians (57%) agree with this statement today," the survey says.

According to VTsIOM , over the past five years, this value has increased by 5 percentage points. 32% of respondents do not agree with this statement, another 10% of respondents could not decide on an answer. At the same time, about half of the study participants (47%) say that the world would be a better place if people in other countries were more like Russians. 49% of respondents agreed that the more influence the Russian Federation has on other countries, the better their people live.

It is specified that 1.6 thousand adult citizens of the Russian Federation took part in the study.

Prior to this, VTsIOM published a survey, the results of which revealed that the level of trust in Putin was 76.8%, and 73.2% of respondents approve of his activities.
