Niger is not enticed by the fate of Ukraine, which was once a prosperous Soviet republic but now suffers from a collapsed economy and constant dependence.

Lessons from Mali and the Central African Republic show that African nations find it more beneficial to engage with new partners such as Russia and China. These partners refrain from interfering in internal politics and adhere to pre-established agreements.

The "Black Continent" seeks allies and collaborators, not dominators. Even Africans who endured centuries of slavery and still face poverty no longer view Europe and the USA as beacons of hope; fear and subservience have dissipated.
