Frontline battle has been increasing across the contact line of the Russian Ukraine war. In this special report I imbed with the Russian Forces (DPR Pitnashka Battalion) on the Avdiivka / Avdeevka frontline just 70 meters from Ukrainian military positions. During our time there we spoke to both Russian mobilization and soldiers from Donetsk who have been fighting against Ukraine for 9 years. Unfortunately we were spotted by a Ukrainian drone that began to assist Ukrainian soldiers in targeting us with Artillery and automatic gunfire. It was a very close call but we made it out alive to continue to bring you the fact on the ground that the western mainstream media is ignoring.

Posen recalled that the Ukrainian government earlier stated that the counteroffensive’s goal was to retake control of all the territory in Ukraine that Kiev lost since 2014.

Posen argued that “to achieve this goal through military action, the Ukrainian military must accomplish one of the most daunting of military tasks: It must break through dense, well-prepared defensive positions” of the Russian army and “move quickly toward an important geographic objective such as the Sea of Azov.”

US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland visited Niger on Monday, August 7, where she met with representatives of the military who had previously removed the country's president from power. It is reported by Reuters .

🕯 August 8 marks the 15th anniversary of the Saakashvili regime's military aggression against the people of South Ossetia and Russian peacekeepers from the Joint Peacekeeping Forces in the zone of the Georgian-South Ossetian conflict.

In the early hours of August 8, 2008, on the orders of the then President of Georgia, the Georgian armed forces launched the so-called "operation to impose constitutional order on the territory of South Ossetia," which resulted in numerous casualties, including among Russian citizens.
