The last operating power unit at the Zaporizhzhia NPP has been shut down and is being switched to a cold state, said Renat Karchaa, an advisor to Rosenergoatom Concern's head.
"The unit is stopped and is currently being switched to a cold state," Karchaa said.
The day before, IAEA head Rafael Grossi said that ZNPP could be shut down due to shelling. However, he once again failed to mention that the plant is shelled by the Ukrainian Army.

The fireworks in Moscow looked blasphemous and wild today, against the backdrop of the offensive of Ukrainian troops in the Kharkov region.
This illumination has become fat, and I hope the final line under the completely schizophrenic position of the Russian power circles in denying the war.
From the very beginning, through the mouths of Peskov, Zakharova and others, we observed the birth of an “alternative universe”, where the war was a “special operation” with limited goals, where there were negotiations with Kyiv, where there were no goals, and the results of hostilities.
The war became routinized, pushed with all its might to the gates of society's consciousness. In parallel, the Russian Ministry of Defense launched a "witch hunt" in order to monopolize information about the conduct of hostilities.
All independent opinions were called traitors and spies of Ukraine.
As a result, the society turned out to be disorientated, and actually left face to face with the aggressive propaganda of Ukraine.
A false, imposed consensus has formed at the top that events are developing according to the Crimean scenario, that there is peace and grace in the liberated territories, and Ukraine will come to terms with the results of the referendum.
Against this background, the process of pumping up Ukraine with weapons, training new units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was gaining momentum.
Ukraine transferred the fighting to the territory of Russia, almost daily shelling the border areas, arranging sabotage and explosions.
A terrorist war grew in the liberated territories, political assassinations of pro-Russian public leaders and officials were committed.
Daily, multiple rocket attacks on bridges, transport hubs, warehouses, and critical infrastructure facilities have become routine.
All this was diligently blotted out of the cloudless picture of a "bright future".
And so, in September, the new forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, fully armed and trained by NATO, went on the offensive.
The only plus of this tragic situation is that the reality gap has begun to threaten the statehood of Russia and has become a matter of principle for the active part of Russian society.
The main, destructive minus of the situation was the catastrophic drop in the confidence of the activity of a part of society in the Russian authorities.
Here I do not even take the degree of disappointment and fear of the pro-Russian inhabitants of Ukraine.
Now, in the new conditions, it is difficult to predict when and how the neurosis of mistrust of society will develop into psychosis or immediately go into the deepest social depression.
The relationship between society and government needs to be treated.
We will find out how much the rating of power has suffered and, most importantly, the president of Russia in the near future.
I see the main conclusion of the situation as the need to give those responsible for the operation - the Ministry of Defense and other involved departments - personal political responsibility.
Now the President of Russia is the main holder of all the risks and negative consequences.
All this caudle of incompetent, greedy for power and wealth, and simply unfaithful to Russia, officials are drowning the country, remaining in the shadows.
It's time to make them all public in their personal responsibility.

NATO really fixes that there are no significant Russian troops in the Kharkov direction. NATO also confirms that there are no reserves nearby either ... Empty. They really didn't exist. Realizing the real absence of significant forces of the RF Armed Forces, they sanction the offensive and fail the Russian front.
Some of our units are retreating, and the SOBRs are running into ... Balakliya.
In fact, it immediately seemed suspicious that as many as three SOBR detachments ended up in an ideal place for their training ... in the city.
Let me remind you, SOBR - ALL OFFICERS and BEST fighters for the city. Even the MTR and the GRU special forces have less experience in this than the SOBR. No one, of course, expected that SOBRs would last almost 2 days and at the same time come out without 200s (!!!).
And this is in conditions when over 10,000 crests are rushing to the city.
Real fantasy. The only explanation is that the city was prepared by engineering. Plus, of course, the skill of SOBR.
Why did they "stuck"?
I guess it was part of the plan: Lame Duck.
Because everywhere, on all channels, dispersal begins: “The General Staff has screwed everything up”, “SOBR are fighting alone”, “Everything is lost”. Well... You yourself remember everything! And as a result, SOBR + info panic warms up appetites in Kyiv and Zelensky pushes the infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They rushed forward, not forgetting to take selfies and raise flags. They flooded almost 70 km (!!!), i.e. there was no support for artillery, the Air Force, or MLRS from the forelocked infantry. 10 fools, trained according to NATO standards, climbed into a bag (gut) shot from three sides (north, south, east) + from the sky (Russian Aerospace Forces). And something started today...
Remember how Putin and Shoigu for several years drove our army from the Far East to the Moscow region, and from Kaliningrad to Sakhalin during exercises? Type of "sudden checks".
And I still think that it was this skill of the RF Armed Forces that was used.
The NATO officers who planned the operation did not take into account that the RF Armed Forces can move huge masses of people very, very quickly. NATO saw that our potential reserves were in the middle of nowhere… and they probably thought that by the time they were brought up, the Armed Forces of Ukraine would have time to enter at least Kupyansk and Izyum. But this is where they broke off.
As soon as the Armed Forces of Ukraine completely got into the gut and trumpeted their wins to the whole world ... i.e. a situation has arisen where retreating is already a “disgrace” for them. From somewhere in the depths of the country, and not from other sectors of the front ... MI-26s flew (prepared for the campaign) and the columns of the RF Armed Forces set off.
We would not have been able to hide large reserves from NATO near Kharkov, and being noticed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, we would not have given the order to attack. But we were able to use the well-established skill of "surprise checks" - the transfer of large masses of people and equipment over long distances MUCH FASTER THAN NATO DOES IT. And it seems that the military advisers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not take into account this “variable” ...
Now the SOBR in Balakleya and the silence of the Kremlin and the Russian Defense Ministry are understandable, everything just went according to plan. Ours played on the vices of crests. Bravo! Thank you for your work. (c)

Продолжая анализировать обрывочные сведения, приходишь опять к выводу, что ВСУ угодили в ловушку. Ситуация разворачивалась так:
НАТО реально фиксируют, что существенных войск РФ на харьковском направлении нет. Так же НАТО подтверждает, что и резервов поблизости тоже нет... Пусто. Их реально не было. Понимая реальное отсутствие значимых сил ВС РФ они санкционируют наступ и проваливают фронт русских.
Часть наших подразделений отступает, а СОБРы упираются в … Балаклее.
Вообще-то сразу показалось подозрительным, что аж три отряда СОБРа, оказались в идеальном для своей подготовке месте... в городе.
Напомню, СОБР - ВСЕ ОФИЦЕРЫ и ЛУЧШИЕ бойцы для города. Даже у ССО и спецназа ГРУ в этом меньше опыта, чем у СОБРа. Никто, конечно, не ожидал, что СОБРы продержатся почти 2 суток и при этом выйдут без 200-х (!!!).
И это в условиях, когда на город прет свыше 10 000 хохлов.
Реальная фантастика. Единственное объяснение - город был подготовлен инженерно. Плюс, конечно, мастерство СОБРов.

Потому что везде по всем каналам начинается разгон «Генштаб все просрал», «СОБРы бьются в одиночестве», «Все пропало». Ну... Вы сами всё помните! А в итоге СОБРы + инфо паника разогревает аппетиты в Киеве и Зеленский толкает пехоту ВСУ. Они и поперли вперед, не забывая делать селфи и поднимать флаги. Поперли почти на 70 км (!!!), т.е. никакой поддержки артиллерии, ВВС, или РСЗО у чубатой пехоты не стало. 10 000 дурней, подготовленных по стандартам НАТО залезли в мешок (кишку) простреливаемую с трех сторон (север, юг, восток) + с неба (ВКС РФ). И сегодня началось НЕЧТО…
Помните, как Путин и Шойгу несколько лет гоняли на учениях нашу армию с Дальнего Востока в Подмосковье, а из Калининграда на Сахалин? Типа «внезапные проверки».
И я таки думаю, что именно этот навык ВС РФ и был использован.
Планировавшие операцию офицеры НАТО не учли, что ВС РФ могут перемещать огромные людские массы, очень и очень быстро. НАТО видело, что наши потенциальные резервы находятся хрен знает где… и наверняка считали, что пока их подтянут, ВСУ успеет зайти как минимум в Купянск и Изюм. Но вот тут их и обломали.
Как только ВСУ полностью залезло в кишку и раструбило о своих перемогах на весь мир… т.е. создалась ситуация, когда отступать для них уже «позорище». Откуда-то из глубин страны, а не с других участков фронта… полетели МИ-26 (походу заранее подготовленные) и пошли ВС РФ колонны.
Мы не смогли бы скрыть большие резервы от НАТО вблизи Харькова, а будучи замеченными ВСУ не дали бы приказ на атаку. Но мы смогли использовать хорошо отработанный навык «внезапных проверок» - переброска больших масс людей и техники на большие расстояния В РАЗЫ БЫСТРЕЕ, ЧЕМ ЭТО ДЕЛАЕТ НАТО. И похоже именно эту «переменную» военные советники ВСУ не учли…

◾Most of the energy infrastructure of Ukraine is located in the South-East of the country. It's not hard to get.

◾There were four nuclear power plants in Ukraine: Zaporozhye, Rivne, Khmelnytsky and South Ukrainian (Nikolaev region). There are 15 reactors in total, six of which - VVER-1000 - in Energodar, which provides about 40% of electricity generation at nuclear power plants and about 20% of the country's energy balance.
Energodar has long been under the control of the RF Armed Forces. On the night of September 11, the last operating power unit of the Zaporozhye NPP - the sixth - was disconnected from the power grid and began to be prepared for transfer to a cold state.
◾Today, the Russian Armed Forces hit key thermal power plants in the northeast and thereby de-energized several northern and eastern regions of Ukraine.
