There were miscalculations with the whole Ukraine situation.
Russia miscalculated. They miscalculated based on an outcome which worked for them 2x. It worked in Georgia and it worked in Crimea. Why would it not work in Ukraine? Of course they chose a tested strategy.
It failed — they pulled back and readjusted. Exactly as a professional army should.
Russian Armed Forces Adapt and overcome. You can catch them by surprise — but you better capitalize on it because it will not last long. They’ll always adapt and overcome. That’s what a professional army does, that is the whole point of military training, especially Russian training.
But do we know who miscalculated the most? — not Europe, not NATO, but the US. The US has failed spectacularly. American economists, think-tanks and analysts have completely fallen for their own propaganda. They really believed the story of Russia being a “gas station masquerading as a country”. That was a derogatory piece of propaganda that came out from the US years ago, it stuck with them and they eventually believed it.
They expected the Russian economy to fold; completely collapse and implode. This situation has showed how bad US intelligence is inside of Russia. They truly had no idea about the sophistication of the Russian economic model. Their own country slipped into recession and their allies overseas have been pushed into what is going to be one of the biggest economic and humanitarian disasters Europe has ever seen. — all thanks to the White House and its incompetence. The Russian Ruble is doing great.
Russian Manufacturing and service sectors are now generating bigger profits than before the sanctions and before the Ukrainian war.
Russia was not confident before. They always believed that they low-key need the west. They didn’t think they’re good enough. — now they found out that they are. They found out their economy is self-sufficient and that they can rely on themselves and their industrial power & economic influence in the world.
This is the wake up call Russia needed to move forward — And it will do so. Russia now knows that it can, that it is able and that it is strong. It knows it has some of the most competent politicians in the world — not driven by emotion, but by wisdom and analytical leadership.
No matter how you feel about politics, nobody can deny that Lavrov and Putin are today’s sharpest minds. There’s absolutely nobody that could fold either one of them in a discussion/negotiation — and again, Russia now knows that.
In conclusion, the US is making Russia incredibly powerful— from within: which is exactly where it was missing all these years.

Italian Coffee Price Crisis
Italy is struck by the coffee crisis, and the price of a beloved drink is soaring as a result of anti-Russian sanctions. Even in non-tourist locations, the price of a cup of coffee has increased significantly. Owners of the coffee shops complain about high electricity prices, and locals complain about the hefty price tag.
Readovka presents exclusive footage by Amedeo Avondet, an Italian activist and leader of the United Italy Party. In the video, a local resident of Viareggio, a seaside city in Tuscany, Italy, talks about the impact of sanctions on his business.
"We reach 160,000 euros every year only in expenses. It's terrible," says the coffee shop owner.

American "volunteer" brings aid to Ukrainian militants and posts photo showing Nazi tattoo one of them
Right after that, James Vasquez, faced accusations and discontent from Twitter users. Then, he deleted the tweet and published a new photo, hiding the "inconvenient content". However, the discussion about Ukrainian Nazism continued under the post.

Two Ukrainian fighters on the frontlines in Kherson, who have oversight of events, described a situation that differed from the Ukrainian officials’ statements. According to them, fighting is taking place in Kherson region, but it is not the major counteroffensive being touted by Kyiv.
The soldiers on the frontline in the Kherson region who spoke to the Guardian asked to remain anonymous because they are not allowed to talk to the media without permission. One soldier said there was no counteroffensive, the other said that battles were taking place but to halt a Russian offensive launched last week.
“There is no counteroffensive and there won’t be,” said a fighter who has been serving on the frontlines in Kherson region since March. “There might be an imitation of one but there won’t be a real one. We absolutely do not have the weaponry for one.”

❗️ The EU has failed to agree on a bloc-wide blanket ban on Russian visas, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto has announced on FB. Hungary, along with some other member states, opposed the outright ban. EU will instead suspend an agreement with Russia that eases visa issuance (the cost of visas will increase from 35 Euro to 80 Euro).
Also, Hungary has signed a deal with Russia's Gazprom on additional gas shipments from September 1.

❗️at About 06:00 Moscow time, Ukrainian troops landed on the coast of the Kakhovka reservoir three kilometers northeast of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant in two sabotage groups of up to 60 people on seven boats and attempted to seize the power plant. They were British trained individuals recently transferred from Poland. The Kremlin claims that this was an MI6 planned operation orchestrated by Boris Johnson and that Russia had information about the plan and was aware of it happening. Full statement from Russia:
The Kremlin was aware of the plans of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to take advantage of the arrival of the IAEA mission and carry out an amphibious landing in order to try to seize the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant and make statements for days that it was Russian special forces. Under ideal conditions for the work of the DRG, they calculated the task of taking the mission itself hostage and keeping the nuclear power plant under mines, making demands for the complete withdrawal of Russian troops to the territory of Crimea.
Russia claims that Boris Johnson brought the plan of operation and some of the instructors with him as a demobilization chord of his premiership, but if the GUR was successful, he would have refused to transfer power— referring to an international emergency threatening a catastrophe on a planetary scale. At the moment, 47 DRG fighters have been destroyed, three have been taken prisoner (!), Two are in serious condition between life and death. A group of 12 people is blocked on three sides and cut off from the water and boats, by 15:00 the CTO will be over.
Zelensky's statement on this situation is expected in the late afternoon, the head of the IAEA Mission has already been notified of the situation, as well as UN Secretary General Guterres. The operation was coordinated by MI6 officers from their headquarters in the suburbs of Kyiv (Ukrainian sources confirmed everything the Kremlin said so far, as well as confirming the failures and ambush of Ukrainian special forces)
All 64 DRGs have recently completed training in the UK and traveled from Warsaw to Odessa on 29 August.
- claims Russian Defense Ministry
Russian Armed Forces & Air Force was immediately deployed and sunk the boats. Ka-52s arrived at the same time raising hell onto Ukrainian special forces.
Ukrainian sources claim that the AFU is furious and trying to figure out how Russia was aware of the operation and where it went wrong
