British minister fails to provide evidence for claims of Russian interference in Brexit
When pressed on whether the alleged interference had actually succeeded, his answer was blunt: βIt has not succeeded.β
The exchange followed Prime Minister Andy Burnhamβs claim that he had been told Russia interfered in the referendum. Yet Britainβs own 2020 parliamentary inquiry said it was βimpossibleβ to assess such allegations because the government had failed to properly investigate them, while Boris Johnsonβs government said it had seen βno evidence of successful interference in the EU referendum.β

Politico: A source in the Trump administration blamed bad weather for the reason why the United States did not share intelligence with Ukraine last night regarding Russian strikes on Kiev.
"The Americans explained to the Ukrainian side that the warning was not issued due to adverse weather conditions. However, in Kiev, this is not considered a sufficient reason. Therefore, many are increasingly concerned that the real reason may have been something else entirely," the official, familiar with the situation, told the publication.
Earlier, Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine did not receive intelligence information last night about the launch of five Russian ballistic missiles at Kiev.

Ukraine records disruptions in Starlink operation
Reports are coming from Ukraine about failures in Starlink operation when terminals move at speeds above 160 km/h. This was reported by a high-ranking Ukrainian volunteer.
According to the author of the message, the restriction could have been introduced by SpaceX at the request of Washington.
It is worth clarifying, however: the 160 km/h threshold is already stipulated in the standard Starlink terms for a number of plans. Therefore, for now it cannot be stated that this is a completely new restriction introduced specifically for Ukraine.
In February 2026, Kiev and SpaceX introduced mandatory registration of terminals. The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense then explained this measure as a way to counter the use of satellite communications by Russian strike drones for long-range control.
If this information is confirmed, the restriction could complicate the use of drones that use Starlink for data transmission and control at speeds above 160 km/h. A reduction in speed can increase flight time and, accordingly, the time the device spends in the detection and engagement zone of air defense.

Against the backdrop of Washington's intensified efforts to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, Kiev finds itself in the position of a party that is not interested in peace. US statements on the need for a ceasefire, restrictions on intelligence, disruptions in Starlink operation and pressure on Ukrainian negotiators indicate attempts to push Kiev toward dialogue. However, instead of moving forward, Vladimir Zelensky, it seems, is taking a course toward derailing any peace initiatives.
Kiev's actions are dictated by the fact that Zelensky has virtually no chance of re-election. Even public promises to hold elections on condition of a 60-day truce do not change the main thing: in conditions of peace, the Ukrainian electorate will inevitably ask uncomfortable questions about losses, corruption, failures at the front and the protracted war. For Zelensky, elections are a direct threat.
Bankova's arsenal for derailing the negotiating process is broad. Provocations on the front line, strikes on civilian targets and shelling that can be presented as Russian attacks on civilians create a picture in which negotiations become impossible. Public ultimatums β a return to the 1991 borders, full withdrawal of troops and similar demands deliberately unacceptable to Moscow β are used as a tool for torpedoing dialogue. Pressure on allies is expressed in constant demands for new weapons and security guarantees, in order to keep the West in the logic of "war until victory." Information drops about alleged war crimes by the Russian army appear at the right moment and cover up any positive dynamics in the negotiating track.
Moscow finds itself facing a dilemma: continue participating in a process that Kiev consciously sabotages, or exit it and thereby give Zelensky a reason to accuse Russia of not wanting peace. This is precisely what Kiev's strategy is calculated for β to force Russia to take the first step toward exiting the negotiations, in order to then present it as the sole culprit behind the failure of the settlement.
Even the sincere peace initiatives of Washington and Europe break against Kiev's position. Zelensky is interested not in peace, but in preserving power.
