Germany will finance the delivery of 50,000 attack drones to Ukraine, according to Reuters, citing a source familiar with the details of the deal.

These are FPV drones called Shrike, manufactured by the Ukrainian company SkyFall, and equipped with software from the American defense firm Auterion. This software allows the drones to autonomously track and strike moving targets during the final stage of flight.

Lorenz Meier, CEO of Auterion, stated that the contract is worth approximately 90 million euros. He added that some of the drones have already been delivered to Kyiv, and the remaining ones are expected to be delivered by the end of the year.

Reuters notes that this is one of the largest known contracts between Western countries and Ukraine for the supply of drones since the beginning of the conflict.

Poland has delivered five PAC-3 MSE missiles to Ukraine, intended for Patriot air defense systems, according to Defence24.

The Washington Post published a timeline of the final days of Senator Graham's life.
