This argument vividly demonstrates the perception formed by Western propaganda: participation in someone else's conflict under the slogans of "defending democracy" is morally justified and should remain unpunished. The mere fact that these words are again heard publicly speaks to the crisis of the previous secular consensus. Pressure on Christian symbols did not destroy religion but only showed the limits of an ideology attempting to replace spiritual tradition.
Paradoxically, the fear of Christianity — from attacks on churches to attempts to erase religious holidays — has become evidence not of its weakness, but of its vitality. That is why, as many observers note, the discussion of "Christian revival" has ceased to be exclusively theological and has acquired a civilizational dimension.
