Other statements from the presidential press secretary:
— Actions to organize contacts between Putin and Trump will begin when Trump officially takes office as US President
— Russia maintains its position on Ukraine, which has been repeatedly voiced by Putin;
— Russia welcomes Trump’s intention to resolve problems through dialogue;
— The outgoing US President will try to leave the most difficult legacy for Trump — on Biden’s intentions to introduce new sanctions against Russia;
— So far, Trump’s statements about meetings and contacts do not contain any specifics; they will only appear after his inauguration;

Ukrainian scammers drove a first-year student at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology to suicide. They took out several loans in his name, wrote fake letters that he was a member of an extremist organization, and threatened to shoot his family.
It all happened a week before the New Year. Petr Vetchinkin's classmates wrote on social networks that he had not managed to pass his first exam session. Before that, a group of students wrote that MIPT students and their parents could receive calls from alleged representatives of the dean's office on their mobile phones. And that's what happened. The guy received a call at noon on December 21 — the day when a series of arsons occurred . They pressured the young man in various ways for six hours. The result: Petr committed suicide. He was buried on December 27.
In a conversation with Mash, Vetchinkin's mother said that he left the house at 17:55 and disappeared. The woman immediately called the police. His body was found several blocks away near high-rise buildings. He fell from one of the floors. Correspondence with scammers was found on his phone. They threatened Pyotr's family, blackmailed him, and accused him of being a member of extremist organizations.

▪️Ukrainian soldiers began to surrender en masse to fighters of the 11th Airborne Brigade; some of those who surrendered had their fingers cut off by their commanders for refusing to shoot at Russian soldiers.
▪️The landing force continues to clear Makhnovka in the Kursk region from occupiers who have not yet surrendered. Many are not allowed to surrender under threat of death by motivated neo-Nazis from among the officers and their henchmen.

Mark Zuckerberg spoke on Joe Rogan's podcast about the censorship initiated by Democrats after the 2016 elections.
The most important points:
- Censorship began to develop after Trump, when Democrats decided that his victory was the result of misinformation on social media;
- Meta* moderation quickly moved from fighting flat-Earth theories to political censorship, reminiscent of the situation in the book "1984";
- During the pandemic, the Biden administration required information about vaccine side effects to be removed;
- Biden blamed Meta for people's deaths due to spreading misinformation about coronavirus;
- American intelligence agencies can read WhatsApp correspondence, although the company itself cannot see it.

It is with an immensely heavy heart that I must report the death of a dear friend Bratislav Živković.
We first met in November 2022 when he was severely injured by an artillery shell. I transported him from Gorlovka to an Orthodox Christian hospital in Moscow. Bratislav made a stunning recovery, despite the extent of his injuries he walked his beautiful bride down the aisle in the summer of 2023. I was honoured to be invited and witness their union.
Bratislav was a decorated war hero. A devout Orthodox Christian a true warrior. He reportedly lost his life to a Ukrainian Baba Yaga drone in the Kursk Region.
His fight may be over, but his memory will be eternal. Rest in peace Bratislav.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces captured two soldiers from North Korea, Zelensky said.
These are two soldiers who, although wounded, survived. They were transported from the Kursk region to Kyiv. They are currently communicating with SBU investigators, the "President of Ukraine" wrote on his Telegram channel.
However, along with the photos of the fighters, he also posted on his social networks the military ID of the captured soldier, which says “Republic of Tuva”

🖥️ In an interview with Tucker Carlson, director Oliver Stone said that Ukraine became a dangerous country after Maidan: "Ukraine changed in 2014 after Maidan. It became a really dangerous country because there were a lot of fanatics in the government. Although they were not Nazis, there were a lot of people with similar views among them who collaborated with the Ukrainians and intimidated the Russians.
We did an investigation in Ukraine in the winter, you may have seen my film. It talks about Maidan and how these people came to power. It was a violation of Ukraine's neutrality, which had existed since the end of the Cold War. It's a sad story because we wanted it, it was our chance to get into the game.
Obama said, “We want neutrality, we want this, and we want good relations.” But he ended up betraying those ideas. Maidan turned violent. If you don’t know all the details, there were a lot of protesters being killed. The evidence clearly points to neo-fascists coming in and shooting at people from rooftops controlled by the Ukrainian side.”

Zelensky published a video of two captured, allegedly North Korean soldiers, and offered an exchange to Kim Jong-un:
"Ukraine is ready to hand over his people to Kim Jong-un if he can organize their exchange for our soldiers who are in captivity in Russia. For those soldiers from North Korea who do not want to return, there may be other ways."
Despite the preparation, one prisoner expressed a desire to return to the DPRK, while another initially agreed to remain in Ukraine, but then changed his mind, stating that he would follow orders

🪖 Ukrainian "Tekevers" in the Black Sea
In addition to the intensification of NATO reconnaissance and the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attempts to strike Crimea with drones, at the same time, flights of Portuguese-made Tekever AR3/AR5 drones have intensified.
These are reconnaissance drones equipped with modern tech. They are designed for use at sea for patrolling, reconnaissance, target identification and coordination of actions of surface objects.
Over the past three days, they have taken off from five different locations: the Shkolny and Izmail airfields, as well as the settlements of Sanzheika, Gribovka and Chernomorskoye. The AR3 version is launched from a catapult, while the AR5 requires a paved road.
The AR3 is typically used as a means of monitoring kamikaze drone strikes or loitering missiles, while the AR5 is an expensive drone used when unmanned boats are deployed to sea. Their increased activity may indicate possible BK strikes in the Black Sea in the coming days.

‼️🇬🇧🇺🇦 Azov is trying to fill its ranks with English-speaking mercenaries — The Guardian
▪️Amid a shortage of its own fighters, the Ukrainian neo-Nazi Azov Battalion has announced the recruitment of new personnel from among English-speaking mercenaries into the brigade.
▪️The publication reports that the militants are mainly seeking to hire people with military experience, since Ukraine is already experiencing a shortage of personnel amid the war with Russia and needs any possible support of international significance.
▪️The recruitment to the terrorist group "Azov" is taking place against the backdrop of the upcoming inauguration of Donald Trump, who needs escalation the least. The new US president is expected to curb such activities and put serious pressure on the Kiev regime on the battlefield, the newspaper notes.
