The Shitshow Macro Weekly Wrapup Podcast for Friday, February 28, 2025 is out:

-The first draft of the Emanations of the Cross Throughout Mankind's History is finished and I hope to publish it for Shitshow Macro premium subscribers tomorrow.
--This is my “clap back” at the ignorant secular media who lied about Pete Hegseth’s Jerusalem Cross tattoo; it took awhile, and it is a fulsome explanation of the history of the Cross in historical, archetypal, and Faith-based usages throughout man’s history (and prehistory).

-The post Statecraft 101: what it is, what it was, what it became, and how the Trump doctrine is changing (fixing) it is now free for all to read and share. The podcast version will probably come out from behind the paywall tomorrow.

Domestic:
-The Epstein Phase I release resulted in much consternation, but a major aspect of the release was largely missed.
--We’ve discussed this in previous podcasts, but the official USGOV release basically verified the veracity of the “Little Black Book” of Epstein’s that has been in the open-source, public domain for several years now.
--That is a bigger deal than most seem to realize.
open.spotify.com/episode/6wap5M

-One spotlight this Phase 1 release seems to have opened up for many normies who haven’t paid attention is the curious case of James Comey’s daughter being assigned as prosecutor to many of these high-profile cases that we never learn anything about, like Epstein, P Diddy, and others:
zerohedge.com/political/epst

-Jake Tapper, the CNN “journalist” who was quick to castigate anyone who called out Biden’s obvious mental decline, announced this week that he co-wrote a book about Biden’s obvious mental decline.
--One of Jill’s aids has also come out to the NY Post about how the administration was gaslighting the American people about the obvious mental decline:
nypost.com/2025/02/28/us-

-The “very serious people” of the US media are super upset that the Trump administration is looking at CISA and considering shutting down its election-based censorship operations and work.
--I’ll just add that the first head of CISA, the guy who made the infamous “most secure election in history” comment, was a follower/subscriber to one of the journalists who I’m suing for defamation.
--So there’s that.
thefederalist.com/2025/02/27/pro

-Despite the media’s anger that Trump may dare look at CISA’s actual operations and what they were doing, a voter fraud case in Florida may upend the “most secure election in history” mantra and open up a can of worms across the country, according to Rod Martin.
--Weird that the super duper effective CISA didn’t seem to catch this operation. Weird.
rodmartin.org/p/the-florida-

-Despite the MSM and FBI’s seeming nonchalant approach to the events, some are starting to learn more about the attempted Trump shooters.
--An article in the NY Post indicates that Crooks (Butler attempt) may have had an accomplice that the FBI is trying to cover hide:
nypost.com/2025/02/27/us-

--And X user @The_War_Economy put out a deep, deep dig on Ryan Routh (Mar A Lago attempt) this week:
x.com/The_War_Econom

-Executive Director for Look Ahead America @MattBraynard released an article and X thread this week with some pretty startling revelations.
--According to Matt, he informed the FBI back in 2020 that the fundraising platform ActBlue may be laundering money and sending funding to Hamas.
--Surprisingly (not really), the FBI didn’t do anything.
lookaheadamerica.org/fbi/

-In our latest edition of Astroturfing the USA, it seems that at least some of the town hall “protests” against GOP members that the media touted as “proof Trump voters were turning against him” were astroturfed (see: fake) by progressive groups:
freebeacon.com/media/mainstre

-In more “that thing the media said doesn’t happen is happening again,” the owner of a Charleroi, PA staffing agency pled guilty to harboring illegal immigrants to put them in local jobs:
thepostmillennial.com/owner-of-charl
-A 33-year-old Tajik was arrested in Brooklyn on Feb 26 for allegedly aiding ISIS and possession of firearms.
It’s NYC, so the latter charge is probably the one they care about the most.

-A massive sting in Arizona netted 25 arrests and 1.7mm fentanyl pills:
theepochtimes.com/us/massive-sti

-The Trump White House has ordered heads of Federal agencies to have Reduction in Force plans in place to move forward with mass firing and layoffs of Federal employees by March 13.

War/Military:
-UK PM Keir Starmer visited the White House this week, and while it doesn’t seem to be getting a lot of notice, one might view it as a preamble to the Zelensky visit today.
--While not forcefully or outright, Trump jokingly called out the obvious: the UK has been one of the prime escalatory forces for the UKR war, but could not fight the (proxy or hot) war without US support.

-Zelensky came to the US Friday and had several scheduled events billed as centering around the signing of a mineral deal agreement with the US.
--Things devolved pretty quickly when it seemed he did not come with the intention of signing the deal as it had been written and previously agreed to.
--I hate to say I told you so, but I called this out in the Statecraft 101 post; his history shows that he should not be considered a good-faith deal maker.
--Here’s a writeup from @EpochTimes :
theepochtimes.com/us/trump-says-

--And the full video of the Oval Office meeting that led to the falling apart of the deal and Zelensky leaving early. It’s worth the watch because it isn’t being reported accurately.
--Here’s the entire meeting, shared by @JordanSchachtel :
x.com/JordanSchachte

--Here’s the 7 ½ minute exchange that most are focusing on:
x.com/elonmusk/statu

--Probably the least expected (from my personal POV) was Lindsay Graham even coming out against Zelensky’s behavior after the meeting:
x.com/WallStreetMav/

-Hegseth has shifted policy away from the previous administration and loosened targeting restrictions for commanders on the ground, allowing them to go after groups like the Houthis, AQ, Al Shabab, ISIS, and others.
--There have already been at least 5 significant strikes against terrorist leaders over the past several days:

-China conducted unannounced live fire military drills just 40 miles off the coast of Taiwan this week.

-Mexico has extradited 29 individuals associated with the cartels to the US, including Rafael Caro Qunitero, who was jailed for the torture and murder of a DEA agent in 1985 but released early on a technicality:

-Counterterrorism forces have found mass graves among the ISIS strongholds in the Shebaab, Kayaxa, and Cal Miskaad mountain regions of Somalia:
sofx.com/puntland-force

-Senior Hamas official Moussa Abu Marzouk has said he would not have supported the October 7th attack had he known the eventual consequences.
--No kidding, d-bag.
sofx.com/hamas-official

Markets/economics:
-An article is out from @zerohedge titled Bidenflation & His Media Whores.
--While the media is trying to spin this as bad data as a result of Trump admin moves, in reality it's just the truth coming to light of how bad Biden screwed up our economy, and how much the media & economist “experts” lied on his behalf:
zerohedge.com/economics/bide

-Bessent (Treasury) has said that Mexico is considering matching the US tariffs against China. Bessent said it would be nice if Canada would follow suit, creating a “North American fortress” against cheap Chinese imports.
finance.yahoo.com/news/mexico-pr

-The US stock market did not have a great week, but Friday showed a movement back to the upside:
--S&P 500: down 0.98% on the week
--Dow 30: up 0.95% on the week
--Nasdaq: down 3.47% on the week
--Russell 2000: down 1.47% on the week

-Crude oil is now down below the crucial $70 mark, at $69.95

-Gold is down a bit but ended Friday at $2,914.10
-Bitcoin had a very down week this week, now in the $83-84k territory.
--If you’ve been following BTC for anytime, you may see this as a good opportunity to get in and “par for the course” WRT the “Bitcoin roller coaster.”
--If you’ve been following Shitshow Macro, you know this probably has more to do with Japan, rates, and the Yen Carry Trade + sucking liquidity out of the market than BTC itself or the Dubai hack.

-European markets were seesaws (red and green) in Friday trading

-Asian markets were mostly in the red Friday (Yen carry trade blowing up again)

-Bond rates:
--13-week: 4.1930
--5-year: 4.0280
--10-year: 4.2310
--30-year: 4.5160

-Currencies are getting some moves again, so let’s go through the basket:
--EUR/USD: 1.0381
--USD/JPY: 150.5910
--USD/GBP: 0.7952
--USD/AUD: 1.6102
--USD/CAD: 1.4465
--USD/MXN: 20.5292

Business:
-The $1.5 billion crypto heist of Dubai-based Bybit last week is now being attributed to state-backed North Korean hackers.
sofx.com/state-backed-n

-NVDA beat analysts expectations in earnings accouncements this week.
--Don't celebarate too early, though; some agents in Singapore who some believe were sending their chips to China seem to have been stopped this week.

Religion:
-IKEA lost a court case in Poland’s Supreme Court that ruled diversity and inclusivity policies cannot exclude Christians.
--BLUF: A worker was fired after posting 2 Bible verses in response to IKEA’s LBGTQ policies. He was fired, as were other employees who “liked” the post.
--In the Supreme Court’s ruling, it noted that a majority of Polish are Christians:

“With this decision, the Supreme Court strengthens the barrier against big companies imposing leftist ideology on their employees—disciplining and ultimately firing those who refuse to conform.

This goes beyond the proper scope of an employment relationship. The Court also reinforces the right of Christians to defend their values, especially in Poland, where they make up a significant part of society. The Supreme Court’s ruling finally closes Mr. Komenda’s case.”

Science
The chemical structure of DNA was discovered on this day in 1953.

Geopolitics:
-Panama’s Attorney General has deemed the Hong Kong company that was given the management contract of the Panama Canal violates that nation’s Constitution:
barrons.com/news/panama-ag

-The CDU immediately backtracked on its campaign promises about limiting immigration into the country after winning the largest vote share in Germany.

-Austria's winning party did the same thing.

Societal/legal/culture war
-Over 100 members of the Intelligence Community were reportedly fired this week after chat forums were leaked from the NSA’s Intelink system showing some extremely NSFW themes.
--While much of the outrage was put on the “marginalized communities” involved in the chats, it’s a pretty standard thing that any rational person knows those types of convos are not suitable for work comms, even within the USGOV.

-Do you remember that Paris theatre run by progressives that invited 200 migrants to a free show and had to cancel their operations because the migrants refused to leave the building and set up a camp inside?
--That theatre is now abandoning the building and lease due to bankruptcy.

Crazy Conspiracy-y:
If you read the previous Shitshow Macro long form post (or listened to the podcast) for Our Radically Changing Understanding of the Human Dynamic and History, you may have read the declassified memo about the Monroe Institute/Stanford Research Institute project that trained and ran “Third Eye Spies” for intelligence collection on behalf of the DoD, CIA, NSA, Secret Service, DIA, and many others.

One of the cool things about that project, if you dig into it or watch the Third Eye Spies documentary linked in the post, is that they found that randos off the street were just as trainable and effective as those who had been selected for the program based on showing certain traits.
A new study in Science Direct, shared with me by X user @sanket_and , seems to be catching up with what SRI discovered decades ago: we may all have natural abilities to do/see supernatural things that have been numbed by outside forces over our lives:

Macro takeaways/lessons from the week:
-People got big mad that the Epstein Phase 1 release didn’t give them all they wanted, but it provided a vital confirmation for something that was already in the public domain but not previously verified. Pause, think, and consider the “big picture” before you allow the outrage monster to consume you.

-The unintelligent don’t have the intellectual chops to see a changing paradigm as it's happening around them. Starmer and Zelensky were given pretty good indicators that the game’s changed this week.

-Mexico considering matching US tariffs against China, Panama moving Hong Kong (China) out of the canal, Mexico extraditing cartel kingpins to the US. Spheres of influence in a multi-polar world, my dear Watson. Changing paradigms and dynamics - not everyone can see it as it’s happening.

White pill(s) for the week:
“Big wheels turn slow,” as my first post-Army and private sector boss used to tell me when I’d get upset about bureaucratic roadblocks for our projects. People have been trained to expect immediate gratification, but we need true fixes and changes rather than mere duct tape on our shaky foundations that have been allowed to be hollowed out and eroded away.

If you can take a breath, step back, and view the big picture, the right moves and right people are being put into place. It will not be immediate, but all of the signs and moves are there that things are finally being fixed.

They broke our entire system over decades; it will not be fixed overnight. Be at peace with this, and resign yourself to never allow disequilibrium and destruction agents to take power again.

Weekend Meditation:
“God is in control, but He doesn’t expect you to lean on a shovel and pray for a hole.”
-Unknown

It is my personal belief that man was given free will and the choice to either ignore evil and let it perpetuate, work alongside and in the furtherance of evil, or fight against it. I don’t believe God built us to simply sit around and watch.
