The public sentiment has been shifting for quite some time - sometimes quietly, but sometimes loudly. For the greater populace, it often takes those “in your face” sea change events to alert them to a changing paradigm.

Marc Andreesen was another - his interview with Joe Rogan led to a waterfall of other tech founders talking about the grievous overreach of the Biden-Harris admin.
I would expect healthcare & pharma or FBI/DOJ whistleblowers to be the next big sea change, but we shall see.
