--Why didn’t they simply send police then, if that is considered a problem?
--Note to JAGs and politicians: don’t send men to war and expect patty cake.

-Videos have surfaced that alleged the current justice minister in Syria may have been involved in overseeing the execution of two women for “corruption and prostitution” in Idlib in 2015.
--I wonder if Germany’s finance minister Analeena asked about that during her recent visit.

-The UN will not respond to nor investigate the report (and plenty of evidence that we’ve seen) of UNWRA leadership and employees being members of or working with Hamas.
--Thanks for sharing the screen grab, @EYakoby . Reason 5,432,793 the UN is a total joke:

Science/Health:
-The FDA has mandated that 2 of the RSV vaccines include warnings about possible nerve damage from taking them.
--Good to see the FDA cares about potential harm now:

Markets/economics:
-This week is set to bring economic reports on inflation (Tues and Wed), housing activity, and retail sales.

-To that point, an article in Zero Hedge asks a question that many have been asking. This time it’s in reference to the “hot” jobs report (that was higher than nearly every estimate) that saw the market tumble: what if nobody believes the official data anymore?

-Oil has hit a 4-month high, at $78.28 as of this writing (Sunday evening).

-Natural gas is up another 6% Sunday evening.
Market futures markets opened lower but pushed higher Sunday evening, save for the Russell 2000 which started and stayed in the red, as of this writing.

-The currency pairs that we have been tracking are all staying within their recent sideways movements, for now.

Business:
-This week will also see quarterly financial reports from the big banks (JP Morgan, Citi, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Black Rock, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley) as well as Taiwan Semiconductor Company.

Social dynamics/societal/culture war/Legal:
-Over in Fulton, “Big” Fani Willis has been ordered by a judge to pay the attorney’s fees for the open records requests concerning her involvement with the J6 Cmte:

-This article is a long one, but important. The “competence crisis” is bad enough on its face. It gets far worse when you realize that none of the catastrophes that we are seeing due to incompetence occurs in a vacuum.
--IMO, we have only begun to see the reverberations of crises and catastrophes due to moving away from meritocracy in all forms of society:

-It is being reported that BLM co-founder Patrice Cullors had 2 of her 3 mansions burn down in the Palisades fire.

Conspiracy-y:
Does anyone else find it odd that after it was confirmed that the questions about both NOLA and Vegas from 1/1 have completely fallen off of the radar? A lot of people attacked Shawn Ryan & Samosaur saying the emails they released were fake, but then it was confirmed they were real, and the discussion disappeared.

Weird, right?

Let’s go back to another episode that has a lot of weirdness yet still no answers: Butler, PA and the attempt on Trump.

@JD_cashless seems to be the only one still interested in figuring out what in the world happened in Butler that day. Here is a list of the strange “firsts” that all occurred that day:

The July 13 Trump rally had many firsts:
-It was the first time Secret Service's Myosoty Perez oversaw site security for an outdoor rally.

-It was the first time Chase Clowser served as the Protective Intelligence agent -- responsible for gathering intel about threats in the area.

-It was the first time an unidentified agent worked as the counter-sniper response agent -- the counterpart on the ground for the snipers on the rooftop.
-It was the first time counter-snipers were sent to a former POTUS event.

-It was the first time for most officers working at an event with segregated local and federal command posts.

-It was the first time the CUAS agent had his drone-detection system malfunction.

I will briefly mention on the podcast how this list of firsts "weirdly" aligns with an anecdote in the book I'm currently reading, JFK and the Unspeakable

White Pill:
While the “if it bleeds, it leads” news and videos seem to take center stage in the media and on social media, there are still good and heroic people among us.

We’ve seen many versions of brave men battling the fires in California, and those men will enjoy rich lives from this point forward for being given the opportunity to do what they were built to do, trained to do, and signed up to do (step into the face of danger and win).

Every so often we see heroism of another form - someone who isn’t doing what they were trained to do, but step up at a moment’s notice when needed. A good society with a chance at survival will help and reward those who do so - as they will those in the first category (first responders).

Here’s a video of one such instance - a man jumping into a freezing lake to save a dog, with strangers rushing to warm them both when they emerge from the water.

Things like this and those stepping into the fray to battle the fires show us that humanity remains, heroes are still among us (in many forms), and we’re gonna make it:

Macro takeaways/lessons for the week:
-They say that there are only 3 sureties in life (life, death, and taxes), but lying politicians should be added to that list. From Democrats using the fires to push people to ActBlue to Lankford lying about laws again, this cannot continue. A functioning Republic requires an enlightened populace, and grifting politicos love gaslighting the low-info parts of the population.

-With the latest herd immunity report revelation regarding forced shots in the military, we need unvarnished answers on the 5Ws on how in the world that was ever allowed to go forward (mandates) and accountability needs to be had. If you want the recruitment crisis reversed, accountability at all levels is a first, vital, step.

-Joe Rogan went from a pretty outspoken atheist to entertaining the idea that God is the universe (The Absolute), to now having significant Christian voices on the largest platform in the world. In the end, God wins.

Implications:
I hate to be “that guy,” but it deserves saying…if one really studies and understands the great cycles of history, things have to get very ugly before serious changes are made and reformations are to occur.

Yes, it is an unfortunate aspect of “the human condition” that most would rather stay asleep and pretend that everything is fine. The part of The Matrix describing those who will fight you in order to remain asleep was one of the more realistic lines delivered in the entire movie.

Have we hit full ejection speed for the cancerous tumor that is progressivism to be excised from the public as virtuous yet? As the wise man once said, “we shall see.”

The Weekly Read (Monday):
Entangled Minds: Extrasensory Experiences in a Quantum Entangled Reality by Dean Radin, PhD

amazon.com/Entangled-Mind

The latest long-form post & podcast for Shitshow Macro covered a host of topics (both metaphysical and physical) that I’ve been interested in and looking into for over a decade. Many of the books, videos, links, memos, white papers, and other “receipts” included things that I’d already found, read, and watched over the years.

This new book by Radin was one that I had not previously read, and it’s a good addition for those who “don’t believe in this stuff.” Radin works for the Institute for Noetic Sciences, founded by astronaut Edgar Mitchell after he experienced the “overview effect” while looking down on the earth from space. He wasn’t able to shake the feeling that there is more to life & the universe than materialist science can quantify.
Radin, his experiments, his data, and his book offer a scientific approach and evidence that there is something to this world and “the human experience” that we still aren’t quite able to quantify. It’s certainly worth a read if this is all new to you.
