The left has a pretty strong track record of trying to brand villains as heroes.
I try not to be hyperbolic in my statements, although as a human, I am far from perfect.
That being said, this will be an absolute sea change in the way things work, if done properly and if not corrupted.

The Shitshow Macro Weekly Prep Podcast for Monday 12.16.24 is out:
The next long-form post & podcast Defining “The Deep State” (and its component parts) should be out shortly.
Domestic Politics:
-24 years and 2 days ago, Al Gore officially conceded the Presidential election (Friday).
--Funny how the media didn’t scream about him trying to overturn an election.
--Apparently, it’s (D)ifferent sometimes.
-President-elect Trump has nominated Nunes, Grenell, and others to cabinet positions over the weekend.
--Topline: Those who were worried that he didn’t learn from 1st admin policy mistakes have been very happy.
--Sundance (@TheLastRefuge2 ) has some great takes on what the current slate of cabinet appointments could mean (TL;DR - creating working and non-politically motivated structures at ODNI/CIA (Tulsi/Ratcliff), NSA (Waltz), FBI (Kash), DOJ (Bondi), and “checking the homework for all of the above” (Nunes):
theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2024/12/1…
--Mr. Nunes himself appeared on Sunday Morning Futures today, which pretty much confirmed Sundance’s theories outlined in the above article:

--Interview video:

-ABC has opted to settle a defamation lawsuit brought by Donald Trump (pre-President elect) against former Bill Clinton staffer George Stephanopolous, who is a pundit on the network.
--The current reporting is that the settlement agreement was struck for a $15mm payment to the future Donald Trump Presidential Library and a public statement from the network.
-When one paints a mosaic of lies, all that it takes is one tile to fall off for the rest of the tiles to get a lot more scrutiny and begin to wobble.
--I still hold to my theory that the DOJIG report re: J6 was not what spooked Wray, nor was it anything more than a drip that signals an oncoming torrent of truth vs narrative.
--That report is seeming to wake up some Democrats like Stephen Smith (ESPN) who are upset they were lied to. Here’s his monologue discussing it, shared by @charliekirk11 :
x.com/charliekirk11/…
-I have not seen the full source comments, testimony, or transcripts for this, which I tend to prefer to do before passing anything along. However, President Trump’s lawyer @AlinaHabba shared this snippet of a report from Fox News so it’s worth at least sharing.
--According to the report (and some others), the lover/not lover (depending on whose version you hear) of Fulton County DA Fani (who was just re-elected) admitted to working with the Biden-Harris White House in the Georgia prosecution of Trump.
--Before people comment: Yes, most people already understood this happened. But an admission adds a new light to this saga, if it really happened in testimony and on the record.
x.com/AlinaHabba/sta…
-Speaking of the Biden-Harris administration, reporting is coming out that they have given Pfizer and Moderna legal immunity from vax injuries and deaths until 2029 as a final parting gift to Americans (/sarcasm).
--Question: why would they need immunity if the shots were “safe and effective” like the media and health regulators told us? I’m confused!
dailymail.co.uk/health/article…
-I poked a bit of fun at the NJ drones fiasco on Friday. And full disclosure, I did watch Mars Attacks! On Friday night. That movie really held up as being stupidly funny.
--You can ACK ACK ACK all you want, but one journalist actually did some journalism-ing and may have figured the whole thing out - by finding a public announcement from a drone manufacturer in the area that they would be conducting these tests.
--From @bdomenech :

-The leftists are still fawning over the dude who murdered a health insurance CEO, and it’s both worrisome and telling.
--It’s worrisome because behavior like this (lionizing a killer) is how you breed copycats.

--It’s worrisome because behavior like this (lionizing a killer) is how you breed copycats.
--It’s telling because they’re so indoctrinated they can’t come to grips with the fact that Obamacare is what made health insurance & health care such a Shitshow.
--Don’t take my word for it: here’s the “Obamacare Architect” talking about how they depended on the stupidity of the American voter to get Obamacare passed:

War/Military:
-The head of NATO gave a speech last week in which he told NATO member states that they may have to cut down on pensions, health care, etc in order to pony up on their defense spending.
--Again, Trump told them this, and they laughed at him.
--However, there are 2 very probable (likely) outcomes if the member states listen to him, given the different cultures/tax environments/entitlements in the EU:
--The migrants who have lived off of EU largesse have their bennies cut, and riot (see: France).
--The indigenous taxpayers who have funded the EU bennie systems get upset that the systems they’ve spent their lives paying (heavily) into see their bennies get cut, and riot.
--Bottom line: stop putting stupid, silly, unserious people in charge of serious things.

-It’s starting to look very much like the whole “North Korean troops fighting in UKR” thing was a PSYOP.
--Mea culpa: I fell for it as well.
--British media was caught last week using AI to alter an older photo of two female soldiers (from a totally different military) to make them look like North Koreans working alongside the Russians.
--An additional rub to this is that the “confirmation” they were going to/in UKR came from the S. Korean intel services - whose boss (President Yoon) was impeached over the weekend.
--Spot the Information Operation 101: In hindsight, the media barrage of stories about “NK troops addicted to porn and not leaving barracks” was incredibly similar to the anti-Elon “islanders get Starlink and become addicted to porn” IO.
--Again, I fell for it too, and we should all learn from this. Although this was the first thing that made me start to really wonder about the provenance of the reporting.
Propagandists have become lazier and stupider than ever globally, it seems.
-RUS troops were seen raising their flag over the administration buildings in the UKR city of Pokrovsk, a pretty clear indicator that they’ve taken the city.
-In Syria, meanwhile, RUS troops were seen packing up their air defense systems on RUS bases in the country, a pretty clear indicator they don’t seem likely to take the new AQ & ISIS leadership up on the offer to maintain their bases there.
-Not sure if it’s related, but an IAF (Israel) strike on a munitions depot in Northwestern Syria this weekend caused such a large explosion that it registered as a 3.0 on the Richter Scale.

-Welp…looks like another “conspiracy theorists were right” may be due.
--The pro-health people trying to figure out why fertility rates have been dropping have been mocked & ridiculed for wondering about the correlation to chemicals & preservatives being added to our food in large measure.

-The Fed’s final meeting for the year and next Fed Funds Rate decision will come this week on December 18.
-Many analysts are expecting another rate cut - but most have been wrong on those predictions this year, so we shall see.
-The media has magically decided to start reporting on rising inflation now that the election has passed, so “normies” should be prepared to see a far bleaker economic picture than they’ve been sold for the past 4 years.
--Case in point, from @Not_the_Bee: store closures are up 69% since last year, with some 7,100 retail store closures in 2024 alone:

Conspiracy-y:
As with anything that the USGOV obviously knows about but is unwilling to provide a comprehensive (or any) explanation for, the drones in NJ thing hit total sanity ejection trajectory over the weekend.
I mean - there were some doozies out there. Really off the wall stuff. Unfortunately, none of them would really be a non-zero probability based on the total Shitshow that 2024 has been so far, so…there’s that.
However, as a guy who has told you routinely that I’m game to listen to any “conspiracy theory” as there are multiple variation of them and their provenance, there was always one aspect of these that deserved a rational explanation: I don’t think aliens (space) or Iranians (foreign) would be utilizing FAA-required lighting.
From “ALIENS!” to nuke sniffers (still a potential) to enemy to an anti-ballistic missile system to a previously publicly-announced test, there were a ton of theories out there.
And honestly, you can’t blame anyone. This administration (and year) has been so jacked up at every level that it’s hard not to jump to the nefarious and far-out explanations. However, Occam’s Razor is a thing.
Sometimes, the simplest answer is the one.
White Pill:
We’re in the midst of another Great Awakening-level resurgence of Faith in this country, and that’s as White Pill as it gets. We knew that people were finding their way to personal Faith, but seeing it show up in movies and book preferences is another level up for that,
When it moves beyond simple weekend services and into genuine topics of entertainment, that’s a great sign overall for the country.
Macro takeaways/lessons for the week:
-President Trump is showing through his nominations that he learned from the 1st admin mistakes about personnel and that he now understands how the Deep State worked against him. Personnel is policy, and both look pretty darn good for the next round.
-CNN and ABC are just the latest media companies to learn that the “wrap up smear” and “trial by media” game isn’t going to work or be a financially feasible business model going forward. Let’s hope this begins to change some things and bring honesty back into the media.
-Both NATO and the EU are in quite a few rough spots right now. Virtue signalling will only take you so far, and it won’t pay the bills.
Implications:
The population around the Western world are finally making their displeasure with the status quo known, and the requisite Deep States around the world are pushing and fighting back wherever and whenever they can.
Even the paid and shipped in professional agitators in the country of Georgia this weekend stopped carrying their pro-EU flags and seemed to have the “wind taken out of their sails” in the final days of the rent-a-riots there.
There is nothing that can stop an idea whose time has come.
It seems like the time has come that the idea of personal freedom from petty tyrants is back en vogue and taking the stage.
The Weekly Read (Monday):
The Book of Romans
Again, i’m on my front-to-back Bible reading, and found another passage that I felt was quite appropriate given the time, circumstances, and potential near-term future:
Romans 5:3
Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.
