Religion:
-An interesting aspect of the Syrian conflict that I feel belongs here more than in the previous section that would cover such things. An American Christian called Travis Pete Timmerman was found in a Damascus suburb after rebels captured the city.
--It is being reported that this was his first trip abroad, and his family are calling it a pilgrimage to focus on writing and a better understanding of Christianity.
--As I’ve noted before, Antioch, Syria was both the location of the 1st Christian Church, as well as the first place where disciples were called Christians.
--Both Missouri and Hungarian officials have been looking for Timmerman, as his last known location was a church in Hungary - another area rife with the historical origins of the Christian Faith.

Geopolitics:
-Norway seems to be looking for a way to cut Western Europe out of its energy grid, as the European energy crunch is set to make prices soar (Norway’s sovereign fund is one of the wealthiest in the globe due to the nation’s own oil, and they use geothermal power generation for many parts of society).

Crazy Conspiracy:
The nation is abuzz with questions about what in the world is flying over NJ. Reports are coming in from the UK, Germany, and other locations that they are seeing the same things.

An interesting, human-behavior and highly-skeptical tidbit to color into your thinking is that nobody with the power to do so seems concerned enough to send anything to interdict or get close-up images of these things.

Some are saying it’s a super secret squirrel US anti-ballistics system being implemented by the USMIL. Others say aliens. Those who want nothing more than war with Iran say, of course, that it’s Iran.

Physicists who work with the types of people that the USGOV would bring in to ask pointed questions about these things say that nobody has brought in the people one would ask about these things, if one were interested in knowing about them or how they are behaving.

So, who knows. Maybe this weekend will end up looking like a scene out of Mars Attacks!, but color me doubtful.

Macro takeaways/lessons from the week:
-Two DOJIG reports released this week put 2 more points on the board for the “conspiracy theorists” and 0 for the media who carried water for the official narrative. The “Alex Jones was right” coin jar is overflowing at this point.

-If “unfettered immigration and diversity is our strength,” why do Somalis keep getting caught in Minnesota defrauding taxpayers out of hundreds of millions of dollars? Between Minnesota (alleged) fraud and $2bn evaporated in a failed campaign, imagine the economic collapse that pair would have wrought.

-The Army showed us this week that they will fire a general for corrupting a promotion process, but not for bad decisions that lose wars and lead to the unnecessary deaths of US soldiers. Pete Hegseth can’t get the job fast enough.

White pill(s) for the week:
While the media and highly corruptible politicians have done their best to pre-steamroll Trump picks to his cabinet, the paradigm seems to have fully shifted and every nefarious attempt is quickly met with public outrage.

For many years across the entirety of the Western world, voters have watched as their politicians completely ignore the democratic process and do the opposite of what the populace wants time and time again.

For the first time, it seems that the people at large are sick of it, from the snap elections in the UK to the vote of no confidence in France and now outrage at those attempting to sabotage Trump’s 2nd administration.

Paying attention is the first step to fixing things; pushing back against those who aren’t doing their job of representing their constituents is the next.

Recalls, primary election contenders, and public scrutiny of misdealings and outright fraudulent political promises are required to maintain a semblance of accountability.
Elon has promised to allocate a significant amount of money towards the latter, but he can’t do it on his own.

“A functioning Republic requires an enlightened populace.”

Now is not the time to get lazy and count on others to pay attention for us. That’s how we got here.

Weekend Meditation:
“The thing about life is that none of us are getting out of it alive. So the question becomes would you rather die on your feet laying waste to demons, or on your knees begging for mercy from those very demons.”

The left has a pretty strong track record of trying to brand villains as heroes.
