An important macro/human condition point that everyone needs to understand:
When a person's fame, fortune, acceptance, job, etc, depends on them adding a new take, discovery, insight, process, etc to something, they will always find one to add.
This is why laws, legislation, education, entertainment, and even the USMIL - every part of our society has become hopelessly convoluted with competing "takes," laws, regulations, or insights.
People will do what they're incentivized to do.
We've incentivized "the expert class" to prove their unique expertise for ego fuel - even if that expertise is contrived.
How do we fix this?
